  Great value!

  On a recent trip I needed to book a place for an overnight stay; being summer vacation season there was not much available for less than $200; I was very happy with the motel; room was very simple but spacious and comfortable; cost was $88 which is very reasonable; staff were very friendly as well. I highly recommend for those one nighters.

  Worse place to stay

  We booked in for 2 nights. The good, the place is clean. The place is very dated, and thats fine, what isnt good is the lack of maintenance. The bathtub drain is rusted, both sink and tub facets dripped, the wall heater is in disrepair as pictured, there is a large chip in the bathroom sink, the light above bed is broken as pictured. At 4:00am the smoke detector low battery started beeping and when we called the desk they werent really helpful. Offered for us to change rooms at 4:00am or for us to disconnect the wires from the wall. My husband was able to get up on a chair to reach the smoke detector and disconnected it. Still wouldnt stop beeping so we had to put it outside. We left for the day and when we came back in the evening our room had not been made up and we had no clean towels. We would have canceled the second night but they required 24 hours notice. Also the most expensive place, at $129 per night, we stayed in our Maritime trip. Also they did not reinstall the smoke detector fr 2nd night.

  Cant Judge a Book by its Cover

  We needed to find a room in Halifax area shortly after Hurricane Dorian damaged a lot infrastructure here. Hotels were full with local people except a few at $300 and up. We found this one and didnt expect too much. We were wrong. Our room has been recently updated with a nice kitchenette area the bathroom was also updated. Bed was comfortable. Wifi is very strong. Very clean and no old musty smell.

  Not more than 2 stars.

  We were told by expedia from someone on the phone that here is 5 stars but it is really hardly two stars. The place is simple and small without even water in the fridge.sink is old and bath tape doesnt work. The smell of old places and no view. the price 120/night. I dont recommend anyone to go to this place.

  Great Place to Crash!

  So Glad I found this Motel. Arrived very late from the Airport, and wanted a place to spend the night that was kind of close to the Airport (I think its about 1/2 way to Halifax) Arrived, very friendly reception woman, very kind, and gave me a great room! She mentioned they just renovated, although my room was upstairs, I loved it! Nice size room, with big kitchen, and big bathroom, It looked like I may have been the first to use the renovated room, unless they are really good at cleaning. Liked the parking lot, the room, the hospitality, cleanliness! I would not hesitate to stay there again! - and probably will.
