LOVELY FRIENDLY HOTELWe stayed at the Stamos for two weeks in September 2019 and this is a really nice well run hotel in a good quiet location close to the village centre. Stay was excellent with a couple of very minor caveats. Room we stayed in (12) was immaculately clean, and bed comfortable however it looked as though whoever had renovated / redecorated hadn't quite finished it properly - paintwork really badly cut in where the tiling joined the ceiling in the bathroom, shower leaked when in use and the filler behind the doorframe in the bathroom hadn't set! Weird, because apart from these niggles I'd have have scored this an easy 5. Breakfast was the usual buffet fare however more than adequate, pool area really nice with comfortable padded sunbeds, nice bar with pleasant food and drinks at reasonable prices, and most importantly friendly and helpful staff. Would I stay here again? Absolutely without hesitation. Recommended.

FABULOUSAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Loved everything about this hotel. Fantastic location. The staff were the friendliest people ever. Loved the small and friendly feel. Rooms were clean with everything you could possibly need. Great pool area, extremely clean, loads of sunbeds. Breakfast was very good, great choice. We've always said we would never go back to the same place twice, only as the worlds a big place, too many other places to visit, but The Stamos, is our exception.

Stamos HotelWe stayed in the Stamos from the 28th September until the 5th October. Have to say this is a real little gem- lovely relaxed atmosphere- really friendly staff- nothing too much trouble for them. The hotel was well maintained, very well cleaned- our room was no 26 recently refurbished with a pool view( think all 18 rooms have pool view bar one). We could also see the sea. All facilities you would expect - air con, fridge, wifi through out hotel, safety deposit box-tv with many channels available including u tube, rain type shower- toiletries, clean towels, maid service every day.. no additional charges. Breakfeast was buffet service as much or as little as you needed.. Well stocked bar and plenty of sun loungers available. Well stocked bar serving cheapest beer in Afitos- 3 euros a pint. Bar staff really friendly and knowledgeable of local area- also served snacks through out the day at reasonable prices. We shouldnt really of put this review for the Stamos so not encourage other people to visit- however it was really so good we felt it deserved to be well reviewed. The icing on the cake is the small village of Afitos- which is so quaint with its cobbled streets, small bars , plenty of restaurants, shops, Churches , museums and great beaches within 5 /10 minute walks. One down side its not a well kept secret and in July/ August the village and beaches are packed ..

Lovely hotel but room wasn't niceLovely little hotel, really friendly staff and we'll run but our room wasn't nice at all. Obviously it wasn't one of the new rooms, they're really nice apparently. It's supposed to be a family room but it had 2 double beds? Not ideal when you have two teenagers, a boy and a girl. I found the room really depressing if I'm honest, dark and dingey. Hopefully by next year it'll be refurbished. Other than that the hotel was absolutely perfect. Lovely pool area, always sunbeds available, even in August! Pool was not once over crowded either. It's got a really lovely personal feel and the staff are so lovely and chatty. Dennis and Emily were really nice, always ready to help and sort any problems. For us afitos was lovely but too quiet and not much to do, so won't be back, but definitely worth a visit.

Absolute GemWe visited Stamos Hotel very late in the season, a little nervous of what to expect...weather, empty hotel, all the bars and restaurants closed... But we have a bit of an addiction to visiting Greece, so we took a chance. This hotel is fantastic, modernised and clean, very friendly staff, and very cheap food and drink. Even though there was only a few guests left at the very tail end of the season, the breakfast was varied and plentiful (good coffee and plenty to pick from). The bar area was lit every night with candles, and Thanasis and his colleagues were super friendly and helpful. The village and beach are truly amazing, very Greek.. Plenty of places to eat and see drink. Hire car from airport was simple, less than hour drive. We were very lucky with the weather which was a big bonus, but would recommend this hotel to anyone... Excellent
