  Fabulous stay, lovely host

  Fantastic location minutes from the beach. We arrived to complimentary wine and raki in the fridge, and host Konstantinos was very welcoming and helpful with information, even allowing us to check out late so that we didnt have to carry our luggage around all day.

  A very comfortable room at a very reasonable price - and with stunning service.

  I stayed here for about a week in June 2019. I was visiting for a conference and had a few days off after. My stay here was absolutely wonderful. They messaged me beforehand, offering a taxi from the aiport at a fixed price that turned out to be better than anything I could find while staying in Platanias. The taxi arranged the keys to my room for me, and generally this was one of the smoothest check-ins ever - and I travel quite a bit for work. I also got an extension to my check-out no questions asked along with a pre-organized taxi back to the airport. The room was quiet and the air conditioning worked well, cooling down the room as needed for a good night's sleep. I'd be pleased to stay here again. I will say though, in case one has mobility issues, the hill leading up to the hotel is steep, though short.

  Nothing was too much trouble

  Firstly, the decoration of the small but perfectly adequate apartment was just lovely. Constantinos met us at the corner, turning up to the apartments and guided us to our parking spot with a smile and a warm welcome. It was late at night but he knew where wed still be able to get a meal and the wine and raki that were left to welcome us were a lovely touch. The garden is just stunning - its full of butterflies, cicadas and beautiful plants - sitting reading in the gazebo was an absolute treat! There isnt a vast amount of privacy which was initially a little disappointing but this is compensated for by the fact that the open walls of the double bedroom allow the air conditioning to span both rooms, keeping both us and the kids comfortable at night. In addition Constantinos kept a regular check on us, sharing his local knowledge and ensuring that we always had everything we needed. He even lent us parasols for the beach! A superb little retreat. Highly recommended.

  Excellent host!!

  In photos you cannot see how nice is Konstantinos! Nice house, good rooms, the garden looks like made by designer. But the host was everything! He ordered taxi for us, took us with his own car tot the beach, give us raki to drink, recommend what to do, and clean the house every day. Nothing bad to say about this stay! If you want to visit Crete, i highly recommend Stamatakis Konstantinos! Ah, i forgot to say: all these with a very good price!

  A Fantastic Host (And awesome room)

  Kosta greeted us when we drove up his driveway and gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our room. The room was very warm and homely, although this would have a lot to do with the warm brought on by Kosta. He gave plenty of recommendations and treated us like family. Some complimentary Tsikouthia and wine in the fridge which was delicious. The location is perfect, great nightlife around and close to buses. Also, if you have a car there is ample parking. What a great place and better host! !
