Pandemic GetawayMy enjoyment came from the Stallion Springs Resort being the destination I desired to have peace and tranquility during the pandemic. The scene is of movie making and the amenities were beyond my expectations. I was glad not to have to drive to town for a single detail that I forgot before my arrival.

Great LocationThe Stallion Springs Resort was a great place to get away for the week. I needed a quiet place to take a class for work and this resort was perfect. The internet/wifi was sufficient for two of us to stream our live class at the same time. The hot tub, business center, and fittness center were closed due to Covid, but the views and gas fireplace made up for it. The kitchen was a little small for a 2 bedroom with little food storage space. But the included kitchen tools and pans were sufficient for everything we cooked. The decor (mirrored living room) is a little outdated but the blinds, pictures, other furnishings were newer. We had a huge snow storm during the first part of our stay. The office made sure to call us and make sure we had everything we needed since we wouldntx be able to leave for a day or so. Then they came and shoveled the walks and cleared the parking lots so we could get out.

A Magical euro patch you can find in California.Truly enjoyed my stay here. It was bit remote area to drive from San Diego, CA. But it was totally worth. That mountain view...that mountain view....that mountain view....unbelievably beautiful. Small patch of hiking trail with a herd of deer in it. Crystal clear star gaze. So serene and quite night. I had the best sleep of the year there. Rooms are clean homey. Drive there and try it. You will fall in love with this place.

Charging wear and tear outdated furnitures to guests.First of all if there is a negative star I would give this resort that rating. Im not sure why this resort is on my Disney RCI list. Run down motel very cheap furniture. They had also asked me to strip down all the bedsheets before we check out. Also, they had put a make up towel on each bathroom with a note that we are responsible for stained towels. It was not a big deal as I bring my own towels and I do not wear make up. The resort charged me $350 for ruining their cheap furnitures! I think this motel makes money by charging guest of wear and tear to their furnitures! Fellow DVC (Disney Vacation Club) members beware of their scam tactics! Such a shame making money off people like this! Very much disappointed!
