Comfortable spacious rooms, reasonable price, good breakfastOld house with rooms very well done. Good Breakfast for a reasonable price. 5 minutes walk from the main train station. Children friendly...we have 3 kids. The bigger 2 had a bed each and the little one was provided a travel bed.

Nice decor though not 24 hrsThis is by all accounts a very nicely decorated hotel (if you like purple). Old town villa with massive rooms with high ceilings, suitable for families too. Very friendly staff, free Wifi. Breakfast ok, though choice not massive. Disadvantages: no elevator (though staff happy to help), reception closed from 8 pm to 7 am, no restaurant

A good night on our wayWe arrived late with the ferry and had no problems checking in via keysafe at the side entrance. We found a nice and clean room and bathroom, had a good nights sleep and a generous breakfast in the morning. Really can recommend this hotel! The old town center can easily be reached with a walk. A tipp: ask for a room at the backside, there is a tram passing regularily at the front.

Great hotelGreat hotel. When we arrived the owner showed us where to park our car. It was free parking just outside the hotel. We were two adults and three children/youths sharing a five bed room for one night. The room was big and clean with beds of good quality. There is a sofa, table and chairs plus TV in the room. Bathroom was modern and clean. You can buy softdrinks/beer/wine in the reception. It takes approximately 10 min nice walk to reach the city center. We chose not to have breakfast so I can't comment on that. the only downside was a very slow WiFi. Would like to come back.

Not quite there yetWe stayed here for one night. We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a concert at the Stadthalle and this hotel fitted the bill being near the station, the event venue and the town centre. The owners are still renovating the hotel which is an old (100 years?) fine town house. However, if I was going to have a hotel then this is not the building Id start with. They have a difficult job to convert the old building into a hotel. Our room was large but somehow didnt work. The bathroom was a pod installed near the middle, no problem with the inside of it. But somehow it all did not fit together. One side of the bed had nowhere to put things (glasses, watch etc) and the light on the other side was pitiful. The furniture was a mish mash of styles which did not work. Breakfast is bizarrely held in the entrance hall and guests checking out have to use the side/back door. Breakfast was typical European - no issues. Overall this is a major project to get right and will need vision and lots of money to succeed. Good luck. It was not a cheap place to stay at but they need every euro they can get.
