  Nice small-town spot on the way to/from Berlin

  Stayed overnight with a friend. Friendly staff, nice rooms for a quiet sleep, easy to park on the street. WiFi works all right. Good breakfast, excellent teas. Dog-friendly. Great value. Would stay again 10/10.

  Very service minded staff

  Nice smaller city hotel with good service, nice rooms and a very tasty breakfast. The rooms were clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Recommended. Nice Greek resturant opposite that also were open a little later in the evening.

  More Positives than Negatives

  The hotel makes a positive impression from the outside. Located on an attractive street, the hotel is well maintained. The lobby also is attractively decorated. The hotel seems to be operated by a husband and wife team. The husband was there for our check-in. While he was courteous, there was a coldness in his welcome. It was terse and to the point, but lacked friendliness. Our room faced the rear of the building and although small and cramped, it was acceptable. The view of the garden was very nice, but the garden was closed during our stay and only opened on our last morning. The bathroom was renovated in a style of 20 years ago. Toiletries were basic, but so was the room price! Breakfasts hours were generous. The breakfast buffet was tiny, but items were of a high quality and were replaced regularly. Coffee choices were with or without milk. Tea selection was a bit better. Breads were quite good as were the meats and cheeses. Eggs were hard boiled. Jellies were either in packets or of 4 varieties in open containers. The young lady who served was the friendliest person in the hotel. I found the decorations nice, my wife was less impressed. In any case, they were no worse than above average. Checkout was a matter of dropping off our key as we had to pay in advance. That is not a complaint. This is a small hotel with a necessarily small staff. The price was the best feature, but to have charged more would have been an overcharge. Key to running a hotel is to make your guests feel welcome and happy. The least expensive way to do that is to smile and be friendly. That is what is most lacking at the Hotel Stadt Beelitz

  Exceptional hotel

  This hotel is really worth visiting,not due to luxury but the extreme friendliness of the staff. The rooms are nicrly decorated and very very clean. Ideally in combination with the star restaurant next door !

  Great hotel

  Although off the highway, this hotel is well priced, clean and offers a wonderful breakfast. Parking on the street was not a problem. We arrived late and they gave us a code to a box which held our keys.
