  Charming, tasteful and good value!

  My wife and I stayed here one night during our 5 day bike trip through Skane. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews and price but I loved this hotel. Our good stay began with the welcome at the front desk by Ellin (spelling?). She said, "You must be (my name). You are staying for one night." She knew because I walked in wearing a cycling jersey and bicycle helmet and had noted that we would be arriving by bicycle. She told me we could keep our bikes in a storage room. Our room was quite nice. Although the bathroom was very small, it was fine. The street view was good. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kristianstad with many restaurants withing walking distance. The breakfast was quite good, although it would be good if they served more fruit - although this is the case for all holidays in Skane! I love the bar and dining room. They blend stately and modern very well. I would gladly stay at Stads Hotellet again! Please keep the price the same, however.

  Very good traditional style hotel close to the railway station with large shower/bathroom. Large bedroom is more like a suite when compared to the normal size room you get, comfortably bed.The restaurant serves very good food, menu has plenty of choice.

  Excellent hotel in Kristianstad

  Stayed in this hotel in my trip to Sweden rock festival. The hotel is great, very comfortable rooms, in front of the citys mains square (where you can park your car, the hotel parking lot gets full quickly), within a short walk from the central station and close to a supermarket and main food area.

  Loved this place

  The room was a very good size, the bed was comfortable. Loved the decor.The host was friendly and helpful. The location was great, walkable to everywhere. the morning breakfast had lots of choices to get you going in the morning. I really have nothing bad to say, we loved our stay here. We were here for my husbands work, I got to stay and explore Kristianstad.

  Nice property and great staff

  Some of the best customer service I've experienced; really made for an enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable, if equipped with the typical European added-later shower, and the room we were in (116, I believe) even had it's own little balcony with a view of the street. Highly recommended!
