  just what we all wanted

  great location fantastic food fantastic facilities i would recommend highly great front of house team ,fantastic barman and very friendly owners when we arrived from start to finish we have no complaints and thats on all aspects really made our skiing holiday complete, even arranged us breakfast at 4am on departure ,

  Ski trip 2017

  Our first visit to ski in the Dolomites. What a week. AMAZING such a great ski resort. Madonna de Campiglio is a very pleasant town and Hotel St Raphael is a little gem. Delightful staff morning noon and night,high quality food and the luxury of the spa to ease aching bodies after a full day skiing. Hope to return again. Avoid transfer from Venice that takes too long at 4 hours!

  Charming and friendly

  We recently stayed a week at Hotel St. Raphael. The staff is fluent in English and very friendly and helpful, even the resident dog, Black (although he is sucker for an ear scratch). This made our stay reassuring and comfortable. The rooms are comfortable, but not a lot of frills. I am fussy about my bed, and was comfortable. We had a room overlooking the creek and left the door cracked at night so we could hear the rushing water, which was really nice. We did take advantage of the spa. The masseuse there is par excellent. There is a pool with a "bubble tub" (no hot tub), sauna and steam room. Ice is available for your hurts in the spa. The bar area is meticulously maintained by the bartender and drinks are reasonable. (We spent many evenings there) Dining is also very good there--the dinner is 3 courses nightly with multiple choices. I had a lot of the fish dishes, which were excellently prepared. Desserts were outstanding. Many of the regional wines are offered and we took advantage of the local wines. Common areas are clean and comfortable The hotel is a short walk to the gondola and town.

  Fourth Trip to St Raphael

  Our half term ski trip took us once again to the St Raphael. What can one say, still the same high quality service and excellent food. The spa area is very well maintained and soothing area after a good days skiing.

  A very warm welcome and excellent food in Trentino

  We enjoyed a "settimana bianca" at Hotel St. Raphael after much research and consideration of our options. It turned out to be a very good choice. We particularly loved the warm welcome, wonderful restaurant staff which offers world class, friendly service and we appreciated the warmth of the ladies that do the room. The food was exceptional too with many choices. On the menu were always a local Sudtirol-style dish or two which I often chose, more traditional Italian pasta dishes, soups, and a wide variety of meat dishes. We really enjoyed the grilled vegetables and salad buffet every night as these were utterly delicious. The food is plentiful and consistently good. Many lovely local wines to choose from too. We had a spacious room with a nice sized shower and renovated bathroom. The hotel is well positioned for the Pradalago ski lift which is just a short walk away, as well as the return journey to finish at Belvedere if needed (coming from Grosté). The hotel staff was very helpful in assisting us with ski route planning, as we had not skied at Madonna di Campiglio in years. The hotel offers plentiful parking and rented ski gear can be delivered to the ski room and collected again by the company that they recommend which is very convenient. We did not use the wellness area other than the pool on one occasion but for those interested in sauna, steam room et al, the hotel offers lovely facilities. All in all we had a great stay and would happily stay here again.
