Excellent Food, wonderful hostsStopped here for an evening meal on September 9th, whilst staying at the neighbouring village of Kilham. The meal was perfect, I had Chicken, Leek, and Bacon Pie and my wife had Tarragon Chicken, both were absolutely wonderful.

Peace and quietHighly recommended place to stay for rest and relaxation. It's a good base to stay for the attractions in the surrounding areas too. The room was great with pleasant views of the cows in the neighbouring fields and a comfy bed with pillows and a duvet that I thought were trying to eat me at one point. The food is excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Superb Wold beers too. The thing that really made it special for us though was the atmosphere and the staff. Very friendly and attentive. A special mention to the locals too who made us feel very welcome. Pandemic allowing, we hope to visit again soon and recharge our batteries.
