  Vacaciones excelentes

  Mi mujer y yo nos alojamos 15 días en este hotel. Todo estuvo bien. El hotel está cerca de Felsentherme, la estación de autobuses, las aguas termales, la estafeta de correos, la Bad Gasteincenter y, a unos 5 min. en coche, de las cuevas Radon. Teníamos una bonita habitación con un buen balcón. Las preciosas vistas desde el balcón de la habitación a las montañas nevadas y llenas de árboles verdes nos alegraba el día. Son unas habitaciones verdaderamente bonitas y limpias, con cama cómoda. Buen desayuno buffet desde cuyo comedor también se tenían unas vistas preciosas. Los dueños, Helge y Sigi, son muy agradables, simpáticos, atentos y responden ante cualquier necesidad de los viajeros. Pasamos unas vacaciones muy buenas: acogedor Zimmer + familia encantadora + SPA + senderísmo + bicis + viajes en coche + aguas puras + aire puro + cataratas y el Paseo del Kaiser. Estaríamos encantados de volver el próximo verano.

  Super B&B in a great location

  We travelled to Bad Gastein through a tour operator, but were moved to the Pension St Leonard at the last minute due to a booking mix up. We definitely got the better end of the deal. On arriving we were met by "Siggi" the owner who gave us an extremely warm welcome & a full tour of his Haus. For skiers there is a ski lock up, a boot room with boot warmers, a small sauna downstairs with an adjacent drying room, a small lounge with a drinks fridge that is run on a trust basis, a nice lounge for relaxing & the lovely breakfast room. The bedrooms are large, with a seperate wardrobe area, a nice balcony giving views of the piste down to Bad Gastein & a lovely walk in shower room. Indeed the room was that big & well laid out we've never been more organised on a ski break. The position is fantastic, 50 metres from the spa, a 5 minute walk to the cable car in ski boots, a 5 minute walk to the nightlife area of bars & restaurants & 10 minutes from the large supermarket. The breakfast as others have said, is a traditional Austrian continental affair of cereals, cold meats & cheeses, warm eggs & lovely fresh bread. You get the occasional addition such as cake or chocolates. You are greeted each morning by "Siggi", who always has time for a chat before handing you the weather forecast to digest with your breakfast. On return after a day on the slopes you can make tea in the lounge. We really could not have been happier with our stay, the welcome, the service & the cleanliness + the location. This Haus is a gem & the owner a special host. We will definitely return in the future.

  Excellent choice for a Hiking Holiday!

  We had an excellent Holiday staying in this hotel while spending our days hiking. The location is great as it is 3 minutes walk from railway station and bus stops, which take you easily to the hiking routes in towns close by. You can also start you hike directly from the hotel as the lift to Stubnerkogel is in a short walking distance. The personnel in the hotel is really very friendly, rooms a clean and comfortable with excellent views. Our host Sigi was always friendly and helpful with providing tips for the hiking plans for the upcoming day. An exceptional place to stay.

  Like at home...

  ... and much better, says my wife... Returning every single year. Perfect communication, clean rooms, greant mountain view from your balcony, excellent b-fast, parking in front of the house, just a few steps to the FelsenTherme, 5 min walk to the cableway. And prices still like 10 years ago. This place is unbeatable!

  Excellent service!!!

  7 nights stay - it was an amazing experience, pension has everything that you can think of: amazing and diverse breakfast, sauna and infrared cabin. Sigmund was welcoming every guest and always keen to help with any queries regarding surroundings. He was presenting a colour printed weather and slope report every morning at breakfast!!! Family run business, extremely clean rooms, modern toilets and facilities for ski - storage, drying boots etc. I even got a 30% discount for renting skis from the recommended shop located around 50 metres from the pension. The Thermes are also at a minute walk for various thermal pools, water slide, even an outdoor pool. Must say Ive been to few ski destinations but this was the best! Thanks Sigi!
