    Bad service

Poor customer service. The room was overpriced ($368/night) but because it was Labor Day weekend I gave it a shot. Room was small but nice. Bathroom was old and dingy with visible orange rust stains on the door frame. Closet was leaking brown water. We told the receptionist about it and she just said there was nothing she could do about it because maintenance was not available and only offered towels to dry up the floor and soak up the water as it was leaking. Then a man who appeared to be the owner came and checked it out himself. I asked if we could switch rooms and he said they were full (which again, I get since it was a holiday) so then I asked if we could get compensated in some way because we paid a lot for a working room and he just proceeded to tell me he thought it would be fine. That we could still put our clothes in the closet (which we of course did not!) and leave the towels on the floor to soak up the leaking wall! What kind of service is that? Definitely not going back.

    Nice place

I liked this hotel. If youre looking for a modern place this is not the spot for you its definitely more of a retro feel. Cant say anything bad about it, it was clean and updated where it needed to be. The location was great since it was up on the hill a little bit. Was a short couple minute walk from the Main Street. They have a wonderful balcony for all to use or you can get a room with a balcony thats shared which we had it was 7JB. Room was large and a large jacuzzi tub. All in all a good spot.

    Terrible hotel to stay

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my entire life! We tried calling them days prior to our trip, however, no one was available to answer the phone (regardless of the time of day we tried). After 3 days of trying to reach someone, they finally picked up and were so very rude! Once we got there, they refused to store our luggage until it was time to check in, blaming it on Covid. I don't understand why Covid can be a reason for not storing luggage? Oh, it's because that doesn't bring revenue, duh! So that alone, cost us a few hours of our trip because we had to find somewhere else to store our luggage. In addition, the rooms were old, toilet barely flushed, oh and when we called to get some fresh towels, they brought it up 40 min later! Terrible terrible hotel. They shouldn't be in business.

    Terrible Service, Terrible Hotel.

This hotel was such a terrible experience all around. I would absolutely not recommend you stay here, the staff is rude and not helpful at all, they are not even a little bit accommodating to any requests and really need to find another job. My friends and I had booked two rooms and had requested that they be together but when we checked in, we were told that they absolutely could not give us rooms even remotely close to each other because they were too busy. Due to Covid, you cannot store your luggage at the hotel even though checkin is at 3pm and most people come on the early morning ferries. You have to store it at the dock. When we were checking out, we called the company to come get our bags and they said they couldn't come until 11:30, since check out was 11, we called and asked if we could check out 30 minutes later and were rudely told that they are shutting down the hotel for the day and we had to be out of our rooms by 11. They said they sent an email with this information and got mad at us for not knowing, even though they never sent an email, we checked with other guests who had the same experience. We payed close to $400 per room and had a horrible stay. The rooms are old, no outlets near the bed, no fridge, and no amenities. Waste of money and experience.

This is a truly terrible motel

Do you enjoy staying in Motel 6's that haven't been updated since 1978? IF so - than this hotel is for you! The bathrooms are tiny boxes filled with 2 colors of mauve tile, taking you straight back to a roadside motel in the 70s. The "air conditioner" is a wall unit that is sit directly at face level, so you have air (not necessarily cold air) blown right into your face as you sleep. But don't worry, the beds are so uncomfortable and the window unit is so loud, you won't actually have to worry about getting any real sleep. All in all, this is a truly bottom end motel with no amenities. Pretty good location though. You only have to walk 5 or so minutes from the port. So it's got that going for it.
