Lovely simple lunchCame on a day trip to Nessebar but had opted to find my own lunch. After walking around the old town I found this lovely little cafe, part of the hotel. The staff were charming and swift, and the omelette was delicious. Very good value too.

A good honest barThis review is of the bar not the hotel. I was recommended this bar on the TripAdvisor forum by JoeT and have to say it was a delight. Ivan was an entertaining barman and boss Tina and her partner were lovely too. They remembered Joe well and his normal order from his July visit. The menu is simple but maybe needs some clarification. Bulgarian Whiskey is Black Rum. Bulgarian Bourdon is Savoy Whiskey. They don't stock Zagorka IPA but if someone else requests it they probably will next season Whilst there I was offered a job as their meeter & greeter and offered a discount on next year's accommodation. We had a pint can of Kaminitza, a Savoy Whiskey, Cola and fries for 11 Lev. Damn cheap for a UNESCO World Heritage site. The food menu is basic. The toasted sandwich (pitta) looked good too. Nice quiet location, good honest people, 100% recommended.

A place to come back if you wanna visit NesssbarIn the old town of Nessebar, very close to the big parking (costs 8 leva/day), 5 minutes walking distance from Buna Beach, very close to the restaurants situated in the old town. If you wanna eat something at breakfast, the owner is more than happy to serve you an omelette, toast sandwich or a delicious kind of cheese pie homemade (called banitsa). The hosts were very nice and always smiling. Our room was a junior suite with balcony and sea view - large room, with AC, comfortable double bed, very clean. The only minus was that the shower was directly on the floor, no tub, although the bathroom was very big. But that did not count as much.
