  Fabulous hotel

  This has to be one of the most wonderful hotels we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The room had spectacular views of the archensee lake and snow capped mountains where ever you looked. Bed extremely comfortable. The food - now that is something else - the chef here is first class. We were at the hotel five nights and were never disappointed in the breakfast or dinner. Smoked salmon and prosecco on the buffett for breakfast on the Sunday, then gala dinner on our final evening. Staff fabulous they remembered everything, from where you came from to what you drank and were very attentive. Well done to the brilliant family who run this hotel they should be justifiably very proud!!

  Amazing hotel, excellent service

  The hotel is very comfortable and in an excellent position for the Cable Car, village and lake. The spa also has excellent facilities. The staff are really helpful and friendly! Our dinner and breakfast services were quick and efficient and the food was very good - fresh and local.

  Wonderful hotel, Great staff!

  This wasn't my original pick but I was bumped up to this hotel as my original hotel turned out to be overbooked. I have mostly good things to say about this hotel. In addition to what people have already mentioned, I would like to point out the hotel is within walking distance to everything: the Rofan cable car, the "downtown" and shops, as well as the bus stop to get around the lake (and to Jenbach train station). The staff were incredibly attentive my needs and went the distance to explain things in English. The breakfast was sumptuous and the dinner dishes were mouthwateringly delicious! My favorite was the veal dish: Osso-Bucco! The only negative was probably the motion-activated hallway lights that take a few seconds to come on. Also, I think the hotel would be even better by upgrading their door locks to key-card/swipe ones. Special thanks to Laura :) for making my stay special.

  Most fantastic Christmas

  We visited this hotel a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it promising ourselves a return visit in the future. We stayed here on a four night Christmas package with friends and our son. It was a wonderful experience. This hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms have wonderful views over to the mountains and lake. The owner and staff are wonderful in every way. The food is excellent, Christmas Eve was a great European experience with an outstanding meal which was served slowly over the evening. All the guests were given a present by the owners children - ladies a glass angel and the men a bottle of liquour. The mountains looked spectacular covered in snow. We had a sleigh ride around the village courtesy of the hotel which was particularly beautiful as we went at 5pm so we could appreciate all the lovely lights and decorations in the village. This was an amazing experience a huge thank you to every single person involved. Maybe we will return..................!

  Luxury style hotel

  Stayed at St Georg am Zee for 3 days with half board accommodation. The room, restaurant and wellness area have a genuine touch of luxury hotel. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had during vacation, and the 5 course dinners were tasty and varied. The only thing that cause this review not to be a 6 star rating is the noise from the traffic on road just in front of hotel. If you are used to traffic noise from living in big city just go for this hotel, but if quietness of the alps while sitting on the balcony is a priority this might not be the place
