  Un poco antiguo

  Habitaciones amplias, estuvimos dos noches en Agosto. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento y nos ayudo con nuestras actividades. Tienen wifi en todas las habitaciones pero no es demasiado rápido. El desayuno bien, tiene puesto de tortillas y huevos en el momento. La piscina necesita una actualización, yo no le llamaría Spa. Había sauna disponible

  Buena opción de alojamiento

  Las instalaciones del hotel están muy bien, y su restaurante también es muy bueno, al igual que el desayuno. Se encuentra en una zona muy tranquila y a una distancia caminable del lago, en un paseo que siempre es agradable.

  Lovely

  A family run traditionally appointed well located hotel. The staff were friendly, professional and very attentive throughout the stay. This was across the staff from reception, restaurant, chambermaid and bar. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed but they managed to cook for all late arrival guests anyway. The restaurant and bar prices were on a par with averages in town but the service and setting was better. Example prices 4.20 beer 0.5 L Evening meal options 16 upwards I had a lovely steak meal at just over 20 Daily breakfast was well presented and provided a good selection of fruit, cereals, breads, cold meat and cheeses, fresh omelette, eggs, bacon, juices etc Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard even folding up our own clothes! The cleaner was amazing. There is a ground level access to the equipment drying room which is also where the pool, 2 x saunas are. The pool is small but suitable for swimming and has user operated jets which are great for a massage. Towels are provided. Overall the hotel was very warm and comfortable throughout and has both stairs and lift access to all floors. It is traditionally appointed with many interesting ornaments, pictures etc. Of note our neighbours in adjacent rooms could never be heard so this hotel is also a quiet environment. The bar is quiet but has background music. Music is of course suited to different tastes and audiences but we did chuckle at many of the styles. My perception I would describe as a mix of hymns, old black and white movie film music, very old non hits, never heard of tunes and some that you may know from your childhood when your parents listened to them albeit they were old tunes even then! We were amused by it nightly. I am 55, my wife 61 and from the U.K. and this was a shared opinion. Our suggestion would be to vary the music style, genre and era to cater across the mix of guests but its not a deal breaker. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the town, bus station, rail station and the gondola, slightly uphill but easily manageable even to pop out to a shop and back again ( as I did to grab a few drinks for the room fridge) There are several apres ski bars all of which get busy. There are many restaurants and eateries nearby suitable for a variety of tastes. There are several ski/board shops too most can do most things for you. However everything can be solved by La Resistance (helicopter logo) near the railway. A word of caution regarding board services though. We visited Sport 2000 at the bus station for board services. Rather than just sharpening our edges, they changed the angles on both our boards effectively ruining them for us. Not happy. Be sure to ask and check what your angles are before they or others mess it up. Its like a hair cut. Once done you cant put it right!!! We were both very happy with the hotel. It was absolutely lovely. People we met whilst there were similarly impressed and some were repeat annual visitors. Would we recommend St Georg. Oh yes! Would we go back. Oh yes. Thank you.

  Excelente opción

  El hotel St. George está como a 10 min caminando del centro. Para nosotros fue ideal, ya que nuestro propósito del viaje era caminar por las montañas y hay varias rutas que empiezan frente al hotel. Tienen estacionamiento gratuito y aparte nos dieron una tarjeta con la cual pudimos usar el transporte público gratis. Fue un lindo detalle. El hotel en sí está hermoso, tanto por fuera como por dentro. Excelentemente detallado y limpio. Hicimos uso de la alberca, del bar y del restaurante y todo fue ideal.

  Dont even contact this hotel... too impolite to even answer!

  We were on holiday at lake Garda and wanted extend the vacation with a stay in the region of Zell am See. We wrote to the hotel to receive the last minute conditions and availability. Unfortunately they did not make the slightest effort to react. Hotel wrapped in beautiful website, but behind it is rudeness and misplaced haughtiness. Hospitality - and a good hotelier - starts with a polite welcome. Conclusion: ignore this hotel, they don't have a monopoly...
