A decent offerThe location is very nice and the rooms was looking very good. Cleaning was done every morning so that was a big plus. The food is ok in the morning, although almost no variation. In the evening however, the choice is very limited: 2 options to choose from and most of the times, the quality was way below average. We always tried both options just to be sure, but almost all of the time they were disappointing. Soup and second course was always very salted, so that's something that could easily be addressed. I often got the feeling that the food is not cooked in-house in the evening, since all plates were looking kind of identical but anyway, there is little to choose from. The evening choices are not written or elaborated too much. The staff speaks almost no English(one of them seems to understand and speak a little) and also very poor German. They are all Czech, if I am not mistaking, and that makes any discussion in English or German difficult. In the evening, even plain water needs to be paid for. Since they served juice and water in the morning, I don't understand why it can't be offered in the evening also. It's just nice and expected, at least by me. That will not stop me from paying for beep, promise :) The location and all that the building offered were a very pleasant surprise for us. We all know that in Austria there is no heat during the night and I personally think it's healthy to sleep at 19-21 degrees Celsius. To conclude, the food and staff could be better; that would make Hotel St. Florian an excellent place to go to.

are much better places to goThe location t is OK The food is monotonous and poor, 7 days was the same breakfast and dinner even though it's not bad but you not receive even a glass of water on the table! IT IS RIDICULOUS!!!! Only the rooms 1-6 for families with children are renovated and appear in photos because the rest are time worn, with the furniture broken and very cold in the room. We stayed in room number 36 and I told the guy at the reception it's not ok to have temperature of 19º Celsius. His answer was (at the phone because did not bother to come and see what´s happening): "That's the normal temperature for your room and if you don´t like it, you can go to another hotel and talk to your agency to solve your problem!!!" and hang out the phone. very rude of him !! I just can´t believe this!!! The other girls how work in the hotel are OK. If you're not from Czech Republic better not go there!!! You will be unwelcome! They speak German very bad and English it is worse, which is unacceptable in tourism. As a customer you pay money to be treated well and expect to receive the services of competent people and to come back for the next time....but in this hotel this politic doesn´t exist!!! I will never come back and I will tell to my friends to not go there!!! St. Florian need to learn more about how to do tourism in a country that wants to be civilized

As it wasThis was our first visit in Kaprun. Amazing slopes and we thought - it will be amazing trip........ Vacation in Austria with good offer by manager (our compatriot). What a mistake!!!!!!!!!! Horrible rooms, not clean, rude staff. Mr. Kostal should sack all of them. Only good point is location, but everything else is bad.

Great Ski HotelGreat hotel for ski holiday with perfekt location in the heart of Kaprun, with walking distance to city center, ski bus, Therme spa and ski slopes! Decorated in the Austrian style, with superb rooms (my opinion 4*), rich breakfast buffet and tasty dinner 3 course menu plus salat bar inclusive. On the bar you can enjoy original tab Pilsener Urquelle beer or some local spirits and coffee. Staff is very friendly, helpful and gives local advices and tips...! This place has a friendly atmosphere and we really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you all!

Not good choiceWas in this hotel for few times during last year and must to say that it is worst and worst. Big plus of this hotel is only location situated close to the bus stop to Kitzsteinhorn and in the walk distance from Maiskogel. Opposite of this hotel is cross-country track. Not so far from Zell am See, Saalbach. The old part of the hotel is quite old with old broken furniture, old mattress. Some rooms are noisy - if there is a group of people who will stay on the bar until night, then you have to count that in the first floor you cannot sleep. Staff is speaking czech, very poor English and German. The food is horrible. Poor choice for brakfast - only eggs, sausage, jam, cheese, ham. For one week the same every day. For dinner you can choose from 2 option, but it is tipically czech couise - if you are expecting something from local specialities you have to go somewhere else. The reason why to stay in this hotel is only the location. Nothing else.
