Good location and tastefully designed roomsStayed 3 nights in this new and modern hotel in Yongin. Location is good 15 mins by taxi to Everland and Carribean Bay. Lots of eateries bakeries convenient shops and night market near the hotel. Right across is Paris Bagueatte and a wonderful noodle bar who's lady owner is very kind and friendly. QTea bubble across the hotel is the best bubble tea we had in Korea. Room is spacious clean and tastefully designed.

Nice Hotel in Yongin very close to Everland Park.Nice boutique style hotel in Yongin. There's a lot of eateries and coffee shops right in front of the hotel with Paris Baguette right on the corner. You also have some mini marts nearby along with a McDonald's and Baskin Robbins as well. There is an "all you can eat" Korean BBQ right next door that you have to try called "Gogi Bul Pae" on the 2nd floor. They not only offer all you can eat on the meat but with all the sides and drinks as well, including beer + the owner is very friendly and speaks some English as well. Right across the street is a street market with a lot of local shops and small eateries. Our room was a decent size Family Room with 2 beds, 1 queen and 1 single. We were able to sleep 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. The bathroom was nice and big and it also had a Bidet toilet and a nice deep tub along with a separate "rainfall" type shower head from the ceiling. The amenities were great, free bottled water everyday along with the usual's body wash, shampoo, conditioner + shave kit and toothbrush kits. The mini fridge was a good sized one and the a/c worked very well. Some of the drawbacks on the room were, no drawers so we left majority of our clothes in the luggage's and the vanity sink was right next to the bed plus the lighting for the vanity mirror was bad, I wasn't able to shave too well. Just FYI, there are no 110v outlets in the room and the hotel does not have any small power transformers to use. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful, even using Google Translate to communicate with us when it became difficult. They even helped us book a taxi for us when we checked out so we could transfer to our next hotel in Seoul. The hotel has a customer lounge on the ground floor that guests can use. This lounge has a microwave, water and ice, coffee/espresso machine and complimentary juice boxes for kids. This is a good place to sit if you go to the mini mart and buy some food. They also offer laundry service which is a full basket of clothes for 10,000 krw, they provide the soap and softener. We used this hotel mainly because we wanted to go to Everland Park. From this hotel you could either take the bus (#66) or the train (Stadium, Songdam College Station to Jeondae Everland Station. We chose to take the train which was very convenient and never crowded. From the Jeondae Everland Station we walked to the Everland Free Bus Shuttle to the Park. Some quick notes on how to get to this hotel from Incheon Airport, take the airport bus to the Yongin Bus Terminal and from there you could catch a taxi to the hotel for about 3,500 krw or $3 usd. I did not want to transfer from bus to bus so I did it this way which worked out just fine. Also, this hotel does have a hotel shuttle van which could pick you up from the Incheon Airport at a rate of 100,000 krw or about $90 usd.I kept emailing them but to no avail because the email address they had online was no longer working, so here is their new email address for this hotel; srdesignhotel@naver.com.

Average, comfortable hotel, very near EverlandThe hotel is relatively small but nevertheless comfortable. Interestingly I was charged 10000won per child per night which means that I had to pay it immediately on check in. I then got 4 extra small towel which I can't understand why given that they are just hand towels. When I asked for normal sized towel they did sent some to my room but they couldn't add any extra pillow which is a bit disappointing. The room itself comes with free wifi and an in room desktop computer which is quite handy to use. The room is clean and comfortable but on our first day the corridor smelled of cigarette smoke. Other than that first day, it was all good. The hotel is near Everland and taxi is available freely on the main street. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and you can even get nice breakfast bread from the nearby Paris Baguette nearby. The hotel is also nearby the market which you just need to cross the main road. One small issue was the transport back to Seoul. If you need a bigger car than the average taxi, make sure you book ahead. We ended up paying the hotel to take us to Seoul which they charged 75000 won which I thought was reasonable.

Good hotel for Everland/Korean Folk VillageSecond time staying in this hotel for return trip to Everland and yet again we were happy with the experience. Took the bus from the airport this time as per the reviewer on here and it worked out fine. They also wanted to charge us for our 4 year old this time but I wasn't having it and perhaps because they knew us from before they let us off. Room was spacious and comfortable although the bed is a bit hard and the pillows not really to our liking but no real complaints. Breakfast is also quite good for a small hotel. Staff were friendly and helped when we asked although communication not that easy due to limited English. Good location with plenty of restaurants close to the hotel. All in all, a good place to stay if visiting this area.

A remarkable customer experienceThe Sr Design Hotel is not only beautiful and luxurious; the staff have gone out of their way to help me on my post Winter Olympic Business Trip and I cannot commend them highly enough. The language barrier has not been a barrier to the outstanding customer service and the staff have played a major part in the success of my business with their care and assistance in arranging transport for me. I have felt safe and secure on my own on what could have been a very daunting trip. I am truly grateful and blessed that this hotel was chosen as my base. Thank you
