  Ideal para un fin de semana

  Se trata de un hotel rural muy acogedor, Merece la pena ir en otoño cuando los arboles se ponen de colores, la zona es increíble. La gente que lleva el hotel es muy agradable esta decorado con mucho gusto.

  Covid summer vacation

  In a challenging time, these folks get it!! With social distancing and masks, they were able to upgrade the service. Stay in contact. Still service the rooms when others take the lazy approach and dont. Rae is a gem as chef! Every day a well thought out breakfast we have come to expect from a well run bed and breakfast. The dinners were even better. Staff was attentive. Rooms were clean. Location to the lake excellent. They made excellent recommendations fir what to do to fill the days. Clearly knowing what was open and what was still closed. Very good value for any traveler!! Highly recommend!!

  What a great place to spend the night

  Booked last minute visit to the lake region and was lucky enough to get a room here for the night. We had left another property because of a rather poor experience, what a nice surprise this place was. The House itself has a funky but homey feel to it, the staff obviously liked working there and were very welcoming. My only complaint was that the Dining Room was closed for dinner the night we were there as the reviews looked amazing. We ate nearby at Walters Basin and it was great. The breakfast here was amazing and we will be back hopefully in the Fall to checkout some more of the area and spectacular colors, this time a night the Dining Room will be open. Thanks for a great night rest we enjoyed it

  Memorable Dining and Attentive Service Make this Inn a Winner

  Nestled peacefully in the discreetly upmarket village of Holderness, a short stroll from the sublime charms of the lake that bears its name, the Squam Lake Inn has the makings for a memorable stay in New Hampshires Lakes Region. We recently enjoyed a five-night stay at Squam Lake Inn. First impressions of this accommodation are most promising. Situated within easy walking distance from the small yet appealing commercial heart of Holderness, the Inn seems to epitomize the look of the classic New England bed and breakfast, including ample grounds, gorgeous landscaping, and a lovely, I could live here wrap-around porch. Inside, the guest is treated to an attractive reception area which spills into a living room and, beyond, two separate rooms that serve as the Inns bar and restaurant and breakfast room. Noteworthy, too, is the Inns spacious and characteristic outdoor deck which serves as the ideal place to enjoy a meal or afternoon libation. Curiously, the only slightly disappointing aspect of our stay at Squam Lake Inn was our double room. Located on the second floor, the room, while tidy and featuring numerous nice touches, was surprisingly small as our queen size bed - offering little firmness, by the way - provided too little clearance from the foot of the bed to the wall. On the plus side, the room, which overlooked the peaceful backyard and outside dining area, had an effective and much-appreciated air conditioning unit, good lighting, and a large, flat-screen Vizio television. On the down-side, however, was the rooms decidedly plain and uncertain style, ranging from lilac curtains to a large wooden window frame hanging from the wall in front of the bed. Despite the rooms rather cramped comfort, the bathroom proved both attractive and highly functional. Offering good lighting, with a large window, the bathroom combined quiet style with the contemporary plumbing, including Kohler plumbing fixtures and a smart rainfall shower. We also appreciated several often overlooked small details of our accommodation, such as a handy soap dish, quality bath towels, and locally produced hand sanitizer. Beyond these features, Squam Lake Inn is to be commended for providing a handy first floor community fridge as well as a Keurig coffee maker, located in the lobby. Perhaps most noteworthy, however, is the Inns seeming commitment to providing quality accommodation while avoiding maintaining a low profile with regard to paper waste. This quality extended from the guest rooms to the Inns dining area. Speaking of dining, it is here that Squam Lake Inn truly makes it mark as an in of distinction. Serving breakfast daily from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, this is an hour that guests of the inn should not miss. During our five-day stay, we were treated to a different featured breakfast each day, from strawberry pancakes to tacos, vegetable frittata to pesto and mozzarella toast. Indeed, breakfasts at Squam Lake Inn are truly a four-star affair, and this, combined with a tasty daily fruit cup, the best ultra crispy bacon this side of Lake Winnipesaukee, a first-quality cup of Joe, and attentive, efficient service, makes for a perfect start to the touristic day. We also enjoyed the Inns restaurant, which serves dinner from 5:00 to 8:00 Wednesday through Saturday. Like the breakfast setting, dinner at Squam Lake Inn is not be missed as guests are offered distinctive cuisine, quality service, and a setting that is truly conducive to satisfaction and relaxation. Priced at $199 to $249 per night, including breakfast, Squam Lake Inn represents good value for money as it provides an impressive package that includes a lovely, peaceful setting, memorable dining, and the kind of friendly, professional service that can only be found at the best B & Bs. It should also be noted that, during our stay which took place during Covid 19 restrictions, the helpful staff at Squam Lake Inn made a point to text message us daily with offers to provide room cleaning and a change of linen, if desired. This was an especially nice touch during these trying times.

  Amazing!!!!!

  This was one of the coolest Bed and Breakfast places we have ever seen. The staff was super nice and professional. They breakfast each morning was a mater piece of greatness. The room was really nice and clean. They have done an amazing job on this place and we loved every minute of it.
