  Old world charm without sacrificing modern convenience

  My stay at the Springview could not have been more idyllic, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, very large and comfortable room and the most charming hostess. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly for those visiting the Kilkenny area

  Unique experience, personalised experience on a working dairy farm.

  Our first night in Ireland. We traveled fro. The airport to this quaint b n b. We were met by Eileen who was our amazing host. We were welcomed out of the cold into the sitting room to eat home made coffee cake tea and coffee. We listened to her stories n her ours. The house was full of antiques which I love. Breakfast was incredible. All homemade jams, bread n food ! A truly perfect experience. We stayed for a few hours eating breakfast and chatting. I wanted to stay n cook with Eileen all day n listen to her lifes journey. A small town easy to get to and lovely lush scenery. A must stay!!!

  Wonderful B&B from the 1700's and working dairy farm!

  Lovely home, excellently furnished rooms, delightful tea with the hostess Eileen who masters the hospitality and tastes of Ireland! Thank you so much for our comfortable stay and felt embraced in the whole family and community.

  Amazing, you MUST go!

  Adorable bnb, very quiet, so peaceful! If you have to go to kilkenny you must book here! Everything is clean and host is very nice and care about your well being! This house was built in 1762 and all the family work hard to keep it in super good conditions! We really enjoy de place and we'll definitly come back for nexts vacations

  Feels like home....only with none of the work

  Eileen and Mike are two of the sweetest people in Ireland. We arrived on a dark, cold, rainy night after having gotten lost a few times. Eileen greeted us with a smile and offered a seat by the warm fire. While we warmed up and the rain dried off, Eileen was making tea and warm scones. I can't remember when the last time was that I had such a generous welcome. The house was immaculate. Our bedroom was a bit chilly, but the mattress warmer under the thick comforter fixed that -- such a thoughtful touch. Eileen had great suggestions for us on where to go and what to do. Mike is a humble quiet man of few words, and the perfect yin to Eileen's yang. The breakfasts were traditional and tasty. Fresh fruit, yogurt, scones, toast, eggs the way you like them, and all the other niceties of an Irish breakfast. I won't spoil it by telling everything. We had two nights there and it was a true delight. My husband and I highly recommend! Hopefully, some day we'll travel to Ireland again. If we do, we will surely spend a few night in Urlingford at Springview House.
