I didn't love itOverall, the Springs Motor Inn was okay. The room rates are cheap, so that's a plus, but it was pretty old and dirty looking. I was a little afraid of the shower. The staff were very friendly though, and helpful, so if you aren't needing much more than just a place to sleep, I'd say its fine.

Completely Disgusting and would NEVER recommendIf there were a 0 star button that is what this hotel would get. Where shall I start with this review. We walk into this "hotel", and the smell of mould, must, and fried food of some sort is like a punch in the face. But we had made a reservation, so we felt stuck. After waiting for a staff member to actually greet us, we asked to see our room prior to checking in. It seemed to be ok... (until you actually began looking). The next thing, we were in town for business, so when I called I asked about the corporate rate, I was told $79. This then changed when we got there to $89 because it was a double room. Ok, we will suck up the $10, not a huge deal. We had gotten into town late and had to just get changed and freshen up some before we had to get to the event we were in Wainwright to attend. While getting ready we pulled the chair away from the desk area to be able to plug in something underneath. This is where it all went completely sideways! When I bent down to plug in my flat iron, there was a used fork, a straw, a chocolate covered candy and an m&m. YUCK! I took a photo of this, but we felt we would just brush that off. Oh and that plug I tried to use, yea, it didn't work at all. I stand up and look in the mirror above the desk, and there are smudge marks on the mirror. Neither mom nor myself had gotten close enough for that! We got changed and left for our event. When we got back to the "hotel" around 1:30am, the hotel was completely unlocked, you didn't need a key card to get in, nothing, and the front desk was closed (therefore no staff or security on site... hmm seems safe to me). Again the smell of mould, must and fried food was like a punch to the face, and made you want to vomit. When we got back to the room we were in a debate to stay or not to stay. We decided we had paid, we may as well stay... When mom went to pull the bedding back that was the final straw (and no I do not mean the one under the desk), there was something on the bedding that looked like BLOOD! At this point mom called the hotel to have someone actually answer, even though there was no one at the front desk. the man who checked answered the call, and told her that he would not refund the money, that we had checked the room, and that we had slept in the beds (we had been in the room a total of maybe 45 minutes). He said that everything in the room that was wrong was our doing. He offered to give us another room (hmm how can that be done when no one is at the front desk?).

Old, rough shape, smelly, etcWe stayed ONE night!!! We stayed in town 3 nights, but only here for 1..... as soon as you walk in the OLD smell was unreal. The rooms on the back wing are brutally old and rough. I understand they are attempting to do some Renos but what we saw looked very rough! We would not stay here again. Actually ended up in a much nicer, newly renovated place for a bit cheaper the other 2 nights. We are at the restaurant for dinner. It was ok.

Not family friendlyWent online to book a hotel room over Thanksgiving weekend. When we arrived the manager was mumbling at us and started to raise his voice, he was very flustered over an incident in the restaurant ( not about our arrival). The hotel was not as posted online, it was filthy, air-conditioning was falling out of the exterior walls, it smelled and appeared unsafe. I then received a call that a member of our party had to be tested for Coronavirus. I explained my situation and said, I'm sorry we have to leave I explained about the Coronavirus test. He started to call me names and said he's charging us anyway, he did not care about our emergency. One of our party contacted Springs and the manager actually used the C word...what? That happened. I would never stay at this hotel, it's filthy, unsafe, not family friendly and the manager is verbally abusive. Horrid experience, and on top he charged us, we had to go home due to a coronavirus emergency and he still charged us.
