  Perfect place to stay en route

  Lovely place to stay with the family. distance from Sydney to Melbourne, we chose to stay here on our holiday road trip. Close to Rutherglen wine region, this farm stay come complete with log burning fire and peacocks!

  Delightful property in quiet location.

  My son and I enjoyed our stay in the well appointed unit at the old butter factory. I chose it because it sounded interesting and a bit unusual. Also because there were two bedrooms and we were each able to have a double bed. All of this was for a very reasonable price. The second bedroom also had bunks, so would suit a larger group and make it even more economical. We found the rooms quite charming and loved the peacocks wandering around outside. There is nothing much at Springhurst, but the closest town is only about fifteen kilometres away and you can what you need there. It is in a good location for touring other border and northern Victorian towns. There were a lot of insects around on the first night, which was a bit disconcerting, but they had all disappeared by the next day. I think it was because of the weather. I would happily stay there again, but would take some insect spray just in case. Overall, we loved this place.

  Will stay there again

  We stayed in cabin 1 and we found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was quite big. There are some birds and a peacock. It was a nice stop on our road trip and will definitely stay there again.

  Cheap and cheerful

  Great place for families friends and couples - quiet with plenty of space for kids to run - central to Rutherglen Beechworth Wagaratta Wodonga and surrounds! This was the fourth time we stayed here - we will be back!

  Overnight stop

  As I arrived I was greeted by the peacock in the driveway. Apartment 1 had everything I needed including 1 litre of fresh milk, which was excellent to go on my cereal in the morning. I had bought a T bone on my way through Gundagai, so the outdoor kitchen came in handy. While BBQing, I could listen to the ibis in the gum tree.
