  Very clean "feeling" with the CV now

  Room was clean and "felt" very clean. I stayed at two Marriott motels on my trip to eastern North Carolina in late July. Highly suggest you staying here. Review says 200 characters!!! Nothing else for me to add to review.

  Beautiful facility

  We were greeted by a very friendly young man when we checked in. He asked where we were from and what brought us to town. The room was clean and fairly big. It was our first Marriott visit and stay so not sure what to expect. Satisfied with the room. The next morning at breakfast the toaster wasnt working. I approached the front desk manager and he was busy doing something on a cell phone, didnt look up until I said excuse me. I then told him about the toaster and he was definitely bothered to be taken away from what he was doing on his cell phone. My husband said maybe it was the breaker and he agreed that it happens all the time, did something under the counter and walked away without saying anything. Not sure if he fixed it or was planning to call maintenance. So, I tried the toaster again and it worked. The check out process is touchless so you remove the cards from the holder and drop them into the bucket. When I was doing this there were 3 hotel employees behind the front desk, including the guy who I asked about the toaster. They were talking amongst themselves, no one looked up or acknowledged I was checking out, inquired about my stay or said anything. Totally different than checking in and sadly the touchless checkout becomes the contactless (no personal touch) check out.

  Great Hotel, very friendly

  I have stayed at several SpringHill Suites over the years but this is one of the best. It was clean and bright and I felt very comfortable staying here during this time. Great location central to a lot of things and easy access to Hwy 17. I would stay here again for sure.

  We enjoyed our stay

  We had a very nice stay at this SpringHill Suites in Wilmington, NC while on a weekend visit to the area. I made our reservation at Marriott's web site using the senior rate. Always proves to be the best price I can find. We checked in late Friday afternoon and were greeted at the desk by a young man named Ryan who was very friendly and hospitable. I handed him my ID and credit card, he looked up and confirmed our reservation. The check in process was smooth and efficient. He recognized my status on Bonvoy and thanked us for our loyalty to Marriott. He explained breakfast and housekeeping giving us a sheet of paper with the new procedures. He could have enhanced the experience by using our name in the check in. He did offer an item from the gift shop as our arrival gift for our status. I initially selected two beers but he told me it was just a single item so I selected a half bottle of wine. Ryan did well to recommend seafood restaurants and a breakfast restaurant. I asked for additional coffee packets which he happily supplied. Our room was spotless clean and mostly quiet although we did hear some conversation through the walls during the night. Housekeepers were very friendly whenever we encountered them in the hallway. I asked for a couple extra bars of soap and they were quick to offer with a smile. All staff were wearing masks. I love that the tv has a scan on it so that you can utilize your cell phone to change channels. Television remotes are very unsanitary. I miss housekeeping coming to make over the room for stay overs, although you can leave out your dirty towels in the hallway and pick up new ones at the desk. There are numerous opportunities to sanitize your hands, everywhere. After using the elevator and even at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is not quiet the same as pre covid days. Lots of high carb bread items, yogurt and juice and of course a coffee station. We ate once at the hotel and once we went across the street to the First Watch restaurant for an incredible breakfast experience. All in all we enjoyed our stay, close to Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington it was the perfect location for our weekend adventure.

  Great hotel

  The SpringHill Suites was excellent. In the midst of the Covid pandemic this facility and my room looked and was clean. The check-in was fast, polite and friendly, something I don't always get at some other branded hotels. The room was large, very comfortable. Beds were outstanding and provided a great nights sleep. WiFI was decent, typical speeds. The free breakfast was great and exceeded my expectations of a cellophane muffin and a banana in a bag. Bagels, muffins, bread, various spreads, cereal and instant oatmeal, juice, 3 types of yogurt and coffee. The refrigerator was freezing my beer and I could not find the thermostat. The desk staffer laughed and said 'we can't have frozen beer', called a maintenance staffer to fix it and the maintenance man was at my door in under 5 minutes. Great response time to a minor issue and he showed me where the thermostat was located. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Wilmington.
