Nice but needs updatesStayed here 3 nights with our two kids. It was not a bad deal considering what we paid but there are some common courtesies I was expecting that were not met. Breakfast: they always ran out of food; whether it was to go sandwiches or oatmeal packets or fruit. Several times I had to ask for a pitcher of hot water since the one they had out was broken and staff said it had not been working for some time. Elevator was slow and the second one was never in operation our entire stay. Reviews I read 2mn prior to our stay also said it was out of order. There was mold on the sprinkler fixtures, wall and ceiling (see images) During peak shower time (morning and evening) water was warm at best, never hot. I had called 2 days prior to make sure their pool was in operation. I was assured it was. It was not. Our checkout day it was finally open but we could not use it as the maintenance man had not checked the levels yet (he was supposed to be in at 8am and it was after 9 and he still had not done it). That being said: staff was always very friendly and apologetic and when we checked out we were told they'd added 2k points to our account due to us not being able to utilize the pool. Room service due to covid, was not typical. You needed to ask for towels and toilet paper (fair enough). Hallways were filthy. Crumbs on the floor. Ceiling tiles had water discoloration throughout the building. Clear tape on the wall electrical outlets. Peeling wallpaper. Seems like there are great employees here but the building is being mismanaged and maintenance is lacking. Convenient location for sure and we appreciated the breakfast sandwiches when they were there. I know covid has been hard on all businesses so I don't mean to sound ungrateful.

Too many problems with this hotel. The staff is friendly but, this place has too many problems and we'd never stay again. After getting into our room, my husband had to move the car, but the elevator was being repaired so he descended and ascended four flights of stairs. After a very long day of driving, this was asking a lot. One of the two elevators never was repaired. The bar sink leaked, and, while the repairman fixed it the next day, he still advised us not to place anything in the cabinet underneath the sink. There was a constant hum from the fan in the bathroom that never shut off. The beds were comfortable but the couch was not. The heating/air conditioning controls were confusing. When we turned down the thermostat at night, the AC came on! We kept wondering, during our three-day stay, what would go wrong next. While the unheated pool looked inviting, the ugly lobby and many problems could not redeem this hotel in our estimation. I would steer clear.

Still Good EnoughStay Report - 2/26 - 2/27 Location: The hotel is located in a weird dead zone near the airport but farther from it than most properties and not really in the RTP either. It's on Slater Road which connects Page Road to Airport Blvd. Airport Blvd. five minutes away has some restaurant options as does Page Road a few minutes in the other direction. RDU is a ten minute drive away. Hotel: The hotel is an early SHS suburbs design though with some renovations. They have a vast parking lot which is always a good thing, a renovated lobby with breakfast area, a small suite shop that does sell beer and wine, an indoor pool and two elevators. Check In: The agent on duty was very friendly and thanked me for being Titanium and made sure to explain all the benefits of the hotel to me. Room: Standard SHS design. The sign outside said "Executive Suite" but it seemed like a normal room. Standard living room area, work space, small kitchen, weird bathroom design where the sink is outside the bathroom etc. I will note the dresser had a bunch of gouges in it and a lot of the furniture was scuffed and aged. Breakfast: I left too early for it but a sign indicated it was grab and go items Do note this hotel is really cheap weekends so the element staying there is unsavory. I smelled a lot of marijuana smoke and each guest has to sign a contract promising no parties. Still, for $64 and being near the airport you could do way worse.
