  Were hooked!

  Second Spring Hill we have stayed at on a family road trip through the southwest. The family is hooked. These properties are basically perfect for us, traveling with two teens. The rooms are large, bathrooms are as well, and the desk/couch and microwave/fridge are a must have. Our team had separate toilet and shower rooms, which was really nice and made road trip hotel life with teens much more efficient. Breakfast is good, this one didn't have the waffle makers, which disappointed half of the family, but that was literally the only thing we would change.

  Terrible customer service

  During our stay the power went out twice, once for over three hours. The hotel has a very limited backup power supply, so the emergency lights eventually weren't even powered. No AC, toilets, telephone or wifi and absolutely no communication from the single staff person on duty. This was a safety nightmare situation. The manager couldn't be bothered to come in to help the front desk woman. People requesting refunds so they could stay elsewhere were refused. We had to take our 3 children to a nearby grocery store to use the restrooms at 11pm. The hotel was loud and chaotic until after midnight. The power went out again the next morning for an hour during breakfast and there was not a single employee availabile at the front desk. Absolutely no compensation was offered. Additionally, the wifi was so slow we couldn't watch the HBO service and then they charged us $10/day for what they claimed was free internet. Terrible stay. Will choose another property next time we're in Midland.

  Inspection

  Over priced dump the floors were dirty and trash under the bed. No toilet paper and towels had stains . Front desk had an attitude and was flat out rude. I recommend thst everyone stay away from this racist and over price dump. I told my company to stay away from this location

  Nice first stay and best hotel experience in Midland

  Have been to Midland 4 times - first stay at this property, and it was the nicest I have been to thus far (if youve been to Midland, you will understand). Very friendly staff, clean, quiet and comfortable. Full breakfast buffet is Ok - no food in the evenings, but full service bar is there with nightly drink specials and a great server..and several restaurants are within walking distance. Outdoor pool, good fitness center - small but nicely appointed with good equipment. Rooms are quite large - separate toilet/sink from shower/sink. My only complaint is AC unit is next to bed - this is bothersome for light sleepers or those who dont like air blowing on you while you sleep. I did encounter a problem on the grounds while there, however management attended to it promptly and with the right level of concern. I would definitely recommend this property over other Marriott properties nearby.

  3 star hotel, 3 star delivery

  The lobby and amenities at this property are really nice, our room looked very nice on entry, but it wasnt really clean, a dirty bathtub had me wondering about everything else. The strangest thing was was sounded like the toilet running in both plumbing areas - all night long - it sounded like a plumbing choo choo train in the walls. It was really irritating. Details in the room were showing some age, wall paper coming off, toilet seat gross and old. Breakfast was good in the morning and the beds were pretty comfy (hope the sheets were clean.)
