Trato excelente, buena habitación y pocos servicios.

    Nightmare Stay

I was traveling to Indianapolis for a Leadership Team meeting on Wednesday evening last week. Forgetting I lose an hour going from Central time to Eastern, I arrived around 10:00 pm which is later than I wanted. So, to set this up, it was a long day. By the time I checked in, settled down and went to bed it was around 11:15 pm. Right outside my window, I kept hearing a pounding sound. Something like a hammer hitting a piece of wood. Occasionally, I would hear a few men cheering. I thought, surely it will stop soon. Not to mention I was too tired to get out of bed. The pounding goes on and on. Finally around 11:45, I got out of bed and look out my window. There is a group of young men playing corn hole in the parking lot. I pick up my phone and dial "O." It rang about 25 times before I hung up. I tried again. Another 25 rings. I wait about 15 minutes and dialed again. Another 25 rings. In desperation at about 12:30 am, I dial 911 and report a disturbance. I get back in bed and it quiets down and I am in that place where I was about 10 seconds away from falling asleep. BANG! Someone is pounding on my door. I can't find the light switch. I'm not dressed. I am fumbling around. BANG!! BANG!! I make my way to the door and look through the peep hole and see a hotel employee. I shout through the door, I need to put clothes on. I open the door and he says, there was a 911 call from this room is everything okay. I said, "Yes." I asked him why no one was picking up the phone at the front desk. He said he was busy. I fall back asleep. 2:00 am loud laughter and shouting jolt me awake. My heart is pounding. Right outside my room young me are carrying on. I dial "O." 25 rings no one answers. Another dial, 25 rings no one answers. I have to find my glasses so I can see the phone number on the room phone. I dial the hotel from my cell phone. What do you know, they pick up the phone. The lobby is so loud, we can barely hear each other. I asked why he is not picking up the phone when I dialed "O?" He said he was busy. I informed him I was just woken up by a loud party outside my window. He said, "I will see what I can do." I said, let me tell you what I am going to do. If the noise does not stop, I will call the police again. The noise stopped. I had to get up at 5:30 am for my business meeting. Exhausted, I stumble over to the in room coffee pot - all three packages of coffee were decaffeinated. You think I was going to call down for regular coffee? HECK NO!!!! At the office, the VP of Marketing said she left the hotel and stayed at another place. The Chief Operating Officer said it was horrible. We instructed our office to never use this hotel again. If you are ever in Carmel and expect to get a good night's sleep on a week day, skip this hotel.

    Nice, Clean hotel

We stayed at this hotel while in town for a baseball tournament. Staff was nice and the rooms were very comfortable. The pool area is very small and there was not much room to accommodate groups hanging out. Other than that, the stay was great.

    A nice Porte - Cochere

I try to say something nice about every property. I can report this hotel has a nice Porte Cochere and two cars can unload at the same time in a rainstorm. This property would appear to have suffered greatly as a result of the Covid 19 virus. On entering the hallway to the elevators my wife immediately observed 'the carpet is filthy. She would not walk on the carpet in the hotel room without her flip flops. When we checked in we were given a letter from the hotel's GM instructing us that the beds would not be remade, to place used towels and trash in the hallway. There was trash outside several rooms that had not been picked up during the day. It did not appear that every room was being cleaned every day limiting the selection of rooms available to what inventory was still clean. In the bathroom the sink did not drain appropriately. The hotel is near Carmel in a business park with no restaurants open in it's immediate vicinity.

    No service, whatsover

We were here for a hockey tournament. No one at the front desk. No note, no way to summons a clerk. Called the hotel number. Rang on and on without an answer. There was one person ahead of me. When there were about 15 wanting to check in, we began to search for an employee . . . or a crime scene. FINALLY, the clerk showed up announcing, "Here's the hockey team." So, she knew we were coming but left us in the lobby tired and unattended, anyway. After getting checked in, we flipped the room for cleanliness/bugs. All good there. The beds were comfortable and room was fine. The bathroom/shower felt a little outdated but it was functional. Our game the following day was in the late morning so we got to sleep in a little bit. As we exited, I saw room service carts down the hallway. When we returned after our game, about 4 hours, our room was not made up. I tried calling the front desk the entire time our son was showering/prepping for dinner. The phone was never answered. We just left. After returning from dinner, the room was still not made up. I called downstairs and, lo and behold, it got answered. We were told the rooms don't get cleaned because of COVID. Oh. Well, we weren't told that at check in. Bottom line: The hotel is a little on the outskirts but not hateful. The room was clean when we arrived. The room key did not always work on the side doors, necessitating walks around to the front more often than not. The coffee was cold. But it seemed like the skeleton crew was not able to keep up with whatever demands there may have been. If we needed anything we needed to go down to the front desk to retrieve. I always have cash to tip those who run stuff to our room. I did make some good tips on this trip!
