    Great rooms, poor experience

    I've waited a few days to write this review, and I continue to be so upset as to the treatment we received while staying at this hotel. I will start by saying this was from other guests, not staff, but the issue was that staff did nothing to address the issue. My wife and I were part of a wedding which used this hotel as a base station, to get ready and a place to rest for the weekend. The rooms were very nice, and out only issue with them was the thermostat controls almost seemed pointless as no matter what we changed them to, nothing changed. Also we bought soda from the lounge area, and it was flat and expires. Now, back to my major issue. My wife and the bride stayed Friday night as well as saturday night. On saturday, we were coming back from the wedding, drained and completely exhausted. We walked into the main lobby, and there was a large group of people, whom were treating the lobby area as their own personal bar, were shouting obscenities at myself as well as my wife and the newlyweds. The were being way out of line and made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. This is not something I would expect from a hotel of this stature. The front desk employee watched and listened and did/said nothing. I had to go back down to the front area several other times and it continued. My wife then told me the group had been there the night prior doing the same thing, so it seems this is a normal occurrence. This alone, has made me not want to ever stay at another Marriot brand ever again! I vacation often with my family, and typically chose a Marriot hotel for our stay, but I am afraid that will be no more. I will be posting this review on other sites as well in hope that no one else has to experience this like we did.

    Only stayed 1 night, but it was a great night!

    Was here in Quakertown for a funeral last week and decided to stay here. Rooms were excellent and modern looking. Split bathroom was kind of a neat idea. Two comfortable beds (even though I only needed one) with a swivel big screen T.V. which can face the beds or living room area. Microwave and nice sized fridge. Check in was easy and quick. Breakfast bar was better than most. Nice place!

    I Came Back...

    I chose this hotel because its close to where I needed to take care of some business. I also chose it because. 1. the Marriot brand and 2. the reviews...Im glad I did. Its quite (could be because of the COVID situation and many people are not traveling, but it works for me). Its in a very convenient location. Other hotels are close by but Im glad I chose this one. It has a modern and contemporary decor. I stayed here a month ago and recently came back. I have no complaints at all. Because of the social distancing, I cant really comment on Customer Service because the staff is very evasive. A simple Thank you for choosing Marriot would be nice when checking in. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay both times. There is a Holiday Inn literally steps away, I might check them out in the future. Sometimes a friendly welcome and thank you can make a customer feel appreciated. Another plus is having a Dunkin Donuts steps away. As far as shopping and food, if you drive less than 10 mins on the same road, you will run into everything. Walmart, Ross, Giant Foods, Dollar Tree, Wendys, McDonalds, Applebees, Burger King, Arbys etc. The highway is close by also. -This was my 2nd stay and I would come back and Id recommend it.

    Visit during Covid times

    Nov 15, 20 My husband and I stayed here. Covid precautions in place, staff wore masks. Rooms were sanitized and sealed. Room was nice and clean. Definite upgrades. Bathroom white and beautiful. Hotel quiet, enjoyed. Would definitely stay again.

    They can do better

    Great room and pretty clean. I would give five star were it not for two things. 1. No breakfast despite being told there would be hot breakfast. By day two, they didnt even have milk for cold cereal. There are not a lot of food options around the hotel which made this an even bigger issue. 2. The desk clerks never wore a mask. Never. Not sitting at the desk, not rationing out dry cereal(they dont even have milk), not retrieving linens. There are signs posted all over the doors and the rest of the hotel that masks are required. We are required to travel for business so we must take whatever precautions we can. I expect better.
