Fine place to stop when traveling through southern OregonClean room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities. Friendly staff who were all social distancing And masked at all times. Breakfast not as good and expansive as the Springhill suites in Ridgecrest California. Lots of hand sanitizers available throughout the facility. Good WiFi reception.

First hotel stay in COVID times in MayWe had to drive to California and stopped in Medford in May 2020. This was my first time to stay in a hotel during COVID times. I was very impressed with all the safety/cleaning measures. The front desk clerk was friendly and explained the grab n go breakfast in the morning. Seemed enough choices for us. The queen bed was comfy too.

Unclean room, guests not wearing masks!!Room 215 When we arrived at 9pm there was a large group of women standing in front of the entrance to the hotel none of them wearing masks. I had to ask them to step aside to get in. When I got inside the sitting area opposite the registration desk had a large group of people none wearing masks. Clearly some had been drinking. When I asked about it at the registration desk I was told they had asked them to put their masks on previously and she would take care of it. Room door is set at a diagonal and the couch is right at the door, makes for an awkward entrance into a small space. The couch had so many stains, it was disgusting. I wouldnt let anyone sit on it. Carpet needs replacing with many stains too. We spent quite a bit of time wiping everything down with Clorox wipes. This room was not clean! Im just going to say to have 6 people in this room would be one heck of a tight fit. Theres one luggage rack and nowhere else to put your bags except for maybe the tiny closet... definitely not enough space there for 5 bags. Living room: Desk and chair, sofa bed with two small end tables. Flat screen TV halfway between living room and bedroom with 3 drawers underneath it. Kitchenette area has bar sink, mini-frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Bathroom: Sink and vanity are separate from the toilet and shower/tub. I find this handy when one person wants to shower and the other can brush their teeth still. The towels were really cheap quality. I dried my hands once and the hand towel was soaked through. Bedroom: 2 beds, one nightstand there are 2 USB outlets that are part of the clock radio. Not sure why the clock is there since you cant see the time when the lights in the room are turned off. Frustrating item. Theres two electric outlets on the other two walls but who wants to charge their stuff on the floor in the walkway? Theres a washer/dryer on the first floor and an indoor pool. Parking lot is shared with the Towneplace Suites when the hotels are busy you may have to park quite far from the hotel. Front desk staff was good. They did the best they could. My 16 yr old had gone out to the car to grab some things. She waited for the elevator, she got into an empty elevator wearing her mask and two very drunk men not wearing masks pushed there way into the elevator with her. She was basically trapped. She was so upset when she came to the room. I made her take a shower (bagged up her clothes) and I went down to the front desk to tell them what happened. They knew exactly who I was talking about. These two men were part of the loud drunk group without masks that I saw earlier. They said they sent them back to their rooms and they are leaving tomorrow. Im really not ok, I think they should have been kicked off the premises. How is Marriott protecting our safety when they continue to allow guests without masks to be in all the common areas of the hotel??? What makes this worse is half this hotel is full of people who have lost their homes to the fire in Talent/Phoenix Oregon. This is the only home they have and yet having other guests walking around without masks... NOT ok Marriott!! Breakfast: There was a slip of paper with several protein options: cereal with milk, bagel with cream cheese, or oatmeal cup. Whole fruit choice of orange or banana Yogurt Muffin pre-pkg chocolate chip or blueberry Juice: orange, cranberry, or passion fruit Problem is they gave us the bagels cold, theres no toaster in the rooms... not sure what they were thinking we could use to warm the bagels up in. The banana my daughter got was way past ripe. Not impressed. While the staff did their best at the front desk. The hotel management needs to empower their staff to call the police and have guests removed from the hotel if they refuse to wear a mask in public areas of the hotel. Also more signs at the elevator about one family per elevator would be helpful and maybe make guests sign that they agree and understand? After this stay I would never come back to this hotel.

Constant LOUD slamming doorsWe are on the road for sometimes months at a time for work and this has to be the loudest hotel Ive ever been to. The battles rattles each time a guest enters or leaves a room. The door closing device SLAMS the heavy door shut on the metal frame and its unbelievably loud and constant as it can be heard many doors down the hall. And, of course,, oblivious guests dont have the courtesy to prevent the doors from slamming. Nightmare of a stay.
