InconveniencedRoom 107, the room with very slow water pressure. Sunday breakfast was lacking in fruits and hard boiled egg and cheese/ham slices. Rooms are dark. Bring your flaslight to read. Bed, once you get on it , you might have a hard time getting out of it. One room with hair dryer plug not working. When they clean the room, they didn't clean the hair on the floor. They didn't restock the supplies of shampoo. Its quiet. Plenty of parking. They really need a road sign to direct entrance to this place. I had to make a fast right in the dark. Pluses: No noise. Microwave, press the high and then the time. King bed rooms has the tv in the den. So hard to watch tv at an angle. They remodeled or still remodeling. Please check your rooms to make sure things are working before unpacking. It saves time to repack and move. Ali, the front desk clerk, was super great to resolve our issues. But there shouldn't be issues when you pay to stay. The dining room chairs are so uncomfortable. The lights flickered in the dining room. They should have cold water available all day long. Their breakfast are very good depending on which day. So far scramble eggs, yogurt, juices, coffee , earl grey tea or Bigelow teas, waffles (should have a spatula to take out waffles), oatmeal (depends, one day thick, one day watery), toaster for muffins and bagel, spinach, fresh fruits. Week day breakfast is way better. Good location.

Worst experience ever! This hotel has bad management and will not respond to the many issues we had during our stay! We couldnt use the sofa bed due to poor floor plan. The beds were placed directly in front of each other making it unable to fold out the sofa bed completely. The phone was on a desk far away from the bed and the second phone was in the restroom. Our toilet was leaking badly and when I stepped in I slipped and scraped my arm. We had to use all the towels to lay On the floor to keep from slipping. Toilet clogged after first use. !! We didnt get word from front desk to change rooms till after midnight. We made several attempts to contact management and have been ignored !! Not one apology, phone call or response to an email ! Dont stay here !

Horrible ServiceRidge is understaffed. There was noone in the front desk to check us in so we waited 15-20 minutes. The staff was rude or was on their phone (very unprofessional). There was noone to help us if we needed any addional assistance (for example: if we needed towels/bedding) during stay. We tried calling from our room but noone answered through phone. The TV was poor quality. There was not any house keeping during or 2 and half day stay.We were in the king suites but it was crammed. The shower head was awful so weak water pressure. I will say that the hotel and the room were clean. The kitchen staff was super friendly and hard working. However, we saw only one person working so she was frantically trying to refill the food and coffee. We felt bad for her. It would be nice if she had some additional help. We prefer Fairfield Inn & Suites just located behind this hotel.

Tired RoomsI was here last week and thought things would be good when I saw the remodeled lobby. The update did not extend to my room. The padding in the couch was so worn it was very uncomfortable. The mattress was shot; way too soft. I was never able to get the shower over lukewarm. I cant believe they get $270 for this tired room. Just goes to show how hot Austin is right now.

Great place for larger family or one with teensGreat place if you need the space to spread out. Room has 2 queen beds plus a pull out sofa bed. Great for larger families or kids that dont want to sleep with siblings. Room had small bar sink in area with microwave and large dorms size refrigerator. While no door to separate beds from living room, the overall room was set up with the feel of 2 different spaces. Hotel itself had a clean and fresh feel. On the north side of town about 10 min from UT campus. Great for family visits with UT students. Particularity liked that didnt have to deal with the I-35 traffic across the bridge since we were north of campus.
