  Encontré este hotel después de buscar en Tripadvisor un lugar basándome en el precio y la ubicación. El hotel abrió dos semanas antes de mi llegada, por lo que no sabía qué podía esperar de él y quedé gratamente sorprendido. El sitio es ideal. Fui andando por la zona viendo todos los restaurantes, tiendas y lugares de interés turístico en unos tres minutos. También había el taxi de agua para ir a Fell´s Point y el gran centro comercial- The Galeria, creo. El vestíbulo no tiene nada de especial pero me gustó ver que es sólo un nuevo hotel en un edificio histórico. Hay una sala de espera con una gran televisión de pantalla plana y un comedor junto a un bar y una pequeña tienda de snacks, pero no fui a ninguno de ellos. (Hay muchas cosas que hacer por la ciudad como para quedarse en el vestíbulo del hotel). El ingreso se hizo rápido y la chica de recepción fue una de las más amables que vi. Creo que era única, pero todos los miembros del personal se desvivieron para asegurarse que todo iba bien y tenían un genuino interés en mi como cliente. Hasta entonces todo fue bien. Pero luego me dieron la habitación y eso fue el no va más. Mininevera, microondas, fregadero y microondas en la entrada, el salón con una buena mesa, sofá, silla y televisor de pantalla plana. La decoración es muy bonita y cómoda, con un aire caribeño. La habitación tiene una cómoda cama de matrimonio, con seis almohadas, otra televisión de pantalla plana, mucho espacio en el lavabo y un pequeño aparador. Dos enormes ventanas con una buena vista iluminan la habitación. Hay el ruido que se espera de una ciudad: sirenas, bocinas, etc... Pero el despertador tiene sonidos naturales, las olas del océano y del río que son divertidas y de utilidad. Gran baño, espejos completos, bañera y aseo en una habitación, pica en zona separada. Buenos jabones y champús hechos de quelpo de mar, también dispone de un secador. La única sorpresa fue el servicio de aparcamiento del hotel (no hay aparcamiento propio) a 28 $ el día. No es un gran problema pero ojalá me hubieran avisado con antelación. Internet sin cables gratuito en la habitación lo cual fue genial y una botella de agua también gratis. Es agradable ver que no te sacan el dinero a cuentagotas. Sin duda alguna volveré a alojarme otra vez aquí.

  Where do I start .... 1) It's an old establishment so don't expect new tech or high tech in your suites. 2) room is relatively clean except we found dirty brown (possibly blood) stains on the pillows. 3) not much personal hygiene products given, no Q-tips, lotions or combs in bathroom, just your standard shampoo, soap, conditioner and body wash. 4) super friendly staff, professional and friendly front desk and maintenance crew, that's what raised this review from 1 star to 2. 5) very reasonable price for the size of the room 6) small entrance to lobby, no pull around drive way with awning. When we arrived it was during a downpour..... 4 adults 3 kids. Use your imagination on what that looks like 7) hotel next to a dark alleyway .... Now to the meaty part of the low rating. Please keep in mind the rating is a personal experience and at the time of the writing, there's not much the hotel or it's staffs can do. Shortly after getting into our room we started to smell some sort of fragrance...with an underlying scent of marijuana..... smells like someone smoked weed and tried to cover it up with cheap cologne. We don't know if it's coming from the vents or if it was left over from the previous customers. The smell comes and goes so I can only assume it's someone from surrounding rooms. I am allergic to strong smells so I never use cologne or personal fragrances so it was especially torturous for me. Even My senseless kids were like omg what is that smell, so I know it's not me being sensitive. This smell tortured us for our entire stay, I even had the very nice gentleman from the maintenance crew come smell when I smelled it, unfortunately he swears he couldn't smell anything. I went to wash my nose to make sure I am not crazy lol and my kids and wife says .... ummm stand here and smell... and bam there it is... I guess the maintenance guy either try to cover up or he is already used to the fragrance and doesn't even know it. Or maybe .... just maybe.... he is the one smoking that good stuff ....? Anyways, it's not a bad hotel if you get a decent room like my friend who is staying in another room... very neutral smell. No fragrance. But for me, I probably wouldn't stay here again, the smell of cheap fragrance and weed killed our. Price: 1.5/5 (lower the cheaper) Friendliness: 5/5 Cleanliness:3/5 Edit: lowered it to 1 star. Forgot to mention both locks for me and my friend's room has issues And the reason for lowering rating to 1 star is because of their valet service. I texted them using their texting services, 5 minutes later text replies car will be ready in 5 mins and to come down. Well 25 mins later car was finally here. I gave the valet girl a $5 tip and nicely asked her "is it really busy today?" She replied hastily "yeah, I work both hotels by myself" and walked away, not a smile, not a thank you, not even a bye ........ I adjust my rating standards base on the quality (money I spent) on the place. I have stayed from $65 a night in PA all the way up to $1000 a night in Venice. This hotel, is not even up to $65 a night standard in my opinion. One of the most disappointing experience ever.

  Good Location & Comfortable

  We made an overnight stay here on a Friday night during a roadtrip. Though the area outside is a little dark, the hotel itself is a quaint but comfortable building. Our room was quiet and adequate Covid-19 protocols were in place. The staff were prompt and polite. We did not use amenities except the Wifi which was fast. The valet service is compulsory and took a bit of time but is understandable in the current scenario. Overall would consider the place to be value for money and in a great location, given you can walk to a number of bakeries and interesting spots in Inner Harbor.

  Excellent Valet Service

  I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Baltimore on Friday, October 30th and I was greeted by Ashley for valet service. He was prompt, friendly and courteous when taking my bags to my room. Will visit again!

  Zyla is amazing!

  This is my second time staying at this hotel and it gets better and better! I would love to send a special thanks to Zyla I believe I spelled her name correct. She has been so helpful and amazing. I was in town because of a death in the family and she was so patient and just really made my stay alot easier. The rest of the staff was amazing and very timely when ever me and wife needed things. If anyone is in town and looking for a comfy place to stay with good people at the front desk, this is the place.
