First Class for under $70This hotel is just amazing. It was the first time we stayed there. and we were just blown away by the whole experience. There is nothing that could have been improved upon. The foyer, the room (actually suite) with 12ft high ceilings, the decor, the breakfast buffet was very impressive, but the staff was the best. One could tell, they loved their job, and were happy to assist the guest. All of that, for such a low rate. We will be back there for sure.

Very Good PropertyVery clean and modern. Large rooms with great amenities. Lots of plugs for our devices. Quiet. Very friendly staff and a nice, free breakfast. Good tips on local restaurants and attractions. Recommended.

Worst hotel experience everOur experience was so bad here I dont even know where to start. We decided to take a mini vacation to Ardmore and visit Lake Murray and spend a few days out on the lake. I booked this hotel a month in advance to assure we had a decent place to stay. Upon arrival the hotel was empty which is understandable on a Wed afternoon but the front desk attendant wasnt very friendly in greeting us. Perhaps he had a bad day. I didnt take it personal at first. Our room was clean thankfully. First night settling in wasnt the greatest. In an empty hotel they seem to gather all their guest in one area which resulted in my room being disturbed by kids screaming and yelling. I have older kids now but I understand those days so I didnt complain about the noise. What really set me off is whoever they decided to place above us seemed to be running and jumping all night long. It didnt stop until 3:30am. After about 3 1/2 hours of sleep I was exhausted but enthusiastically looking forward to breakfast at least. I mean I paid for a hot Continental breakfast and I was not about to miss out. I was extremely disappointed when approaching the kitchen to find stapled bags with a sign that read Muffin, Granola bar and water. Seriously? I paid for a hot meal. This bag was literally a $3 snack but at least they were serving bananas on the side. I completely understand we went during the COVID19 pandemic but if you are not going to give me everything I paid for then do not charge me full price. The next day we left kind of early not to be in the way of the cleaning crew. My mistake to assume they were going to clean or replenish towels. They never came to our room. By the second night we had no toilet paper, no clean towels and our trash was full. Our toilet ended up clogged for no reason so I called down to the front desk and asked the attendant if they could send someone to unclog it and to also bring us clean towels and take our trash out. The lady was rude and said no one was there to unclog it but she could bring a plunger and a heavy duty trash bag to bag our trash up in. She also gave us the directions to the big trash can outside but of course didnt bring clean towels. Thankfully I packed extra toilet paper and towels or liters we would have been S.O.L. Every attendant during our stay either wouldnt speak to us or was rude with the exception of check out on the third day. The hotels pool was green and the hot tub was luke warm You could swim side by side with people during the pandemic or sit less than 6 ft apart in a hot tub but dont expect them to serve you warm food! That would be to risky It took 3 days to be treated kindly. Very disappointed it was on our exit out and not during our stay. I have never been to a hotel who ran their business like this. I will never book at the Marriott Spring Hill Suite again and I dont recommend staying here.

1 night stay on our way to a funeralWe arrived late, close to midnight, but the hotel was easy to find in the dark. Front desk attendant was pleasant, even given the later hour. We had two rooms for our large family. Both were clean and comfortable. Grab n Go bagged pastries for breakfast during the pandemic.

Convenient Location, Nice Rooms, and Friendly StaffMy husband and I checked n on Wednesday and checked out on Friday. We were in town checking out some parks and cabins in the area. Check-in/checkout process was quick and efficient. All staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a Studio King on the first floor. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. I liked the high ceilings as well. Loved the"enjoy your stay" note with the butterfly sticker from Bobbie that was on the desk in our room. Our bed was very comfortable. Pillows were soft and fluffy. The shower had poor water pressure and at times we would have to let the shower run for a few minutes for the water to get hot. Shower was stocked with Paul Mitchell products. Normally we prefer to stay on the higher floors do to they are less noisy, but we tried out the first floor this time. Our room was just four doors from the back door. This turned out to be very convenient since we were in and out a lot. Our vehicle was easily insight parked right outside our room window. No waiting for the elevator or entering and exiting through the front lobby. However with this convenience you will have more noise from other guest and noise from the Interstate traffic. The noise from the interstate traffic and guest may even be an issue on the higher floors since you could sometimes here people talk through the wall. We normally travel with a fan for this purpose, but forgot it this trip. The A/C work perfect and was quieter than most. The hotel for the most part was very clean except for the floors trampled on by a group of construction workers staying there. They tracked the floors with mud and dirt from there boots. Staff did try to keep cleaned up behind them. We found the location to be very convenient. They practiced social distancing, masking, and disinfecting for Covid-19. Due to Covid-19 they were not serving breakfast. Instead they put out breakfast bags every morning at 5:30 a.m. for guest to pick up. Our bags contained a blueberry muffin, granola bar, and a bottle of water (there is an I-Hop close by the hotel if you need a more filling breakfast). We were good with our breakfast bags. The hot tub and pool are open. They would call you when the hot tub became vacant to allow social distancing. This also was not a problem since we were there during the week and there were not many guest. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
