  Great hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast

  We stayed there to visit UAlbany. We arrived late. The front desk gentleman was very nice and accommodating. There was coffee and lollipops. The room was spacious. The wifi worked well. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and many other items. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. Close to Albany proper too.

  Nicest sheets on our entire trip! The bed was comfortable also.The Asian restaurant almost next door was fabulous and worth driving back there from Maine again. The hotel was a busy place. Breakfast and staff was fine.

  Cant be beat for the price-great service and breakfast included

  We look for Spring Hill Suites when staying with family for one night stays. Theyre generally clean, safe, nice staff, and the layout (2 beds and separate area with desk and sofa bed) allow for our family of five to stay comfortably without needing a second room. This location was one of the best SHS weve stayed at (out of dozens) because of location but especially because of the staff, one employee actually. Michael was on duty the evening we called ahead with some questions and to confirm our reservation and he was very helpful and professional. When we checked in, Michael was on duty and was so helpful and professional. He helped us with dinner delivery, helped us find the baseball playoff game we were looking for on tv, and even called back a little later to see if there was anything else we needed. The room was clean, fairly large for the cost, with coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, and sink outside bathroom. Temperature controls worked well and beds were very comfortable. Dont underestimate the free breakfast and parking which would have surely cost us in excess of $90 combined at another property.

  Outstanding Customer Service

  I arrived with a friend in a serious condition. Health issue. The afternoon/evening front desk staff--Ryan and Michael--were true rockstars. From the moment we walked in they were friendly and warm. After a bit of banter we checked in, but I requested a look at a handicap accessible room. No problem! I was taken straight to one and allowed to give it a once over. A bit later I returned with a takeout meal, though I had forgotten to pick up a few salt packets. No problem! One of the guys took a plastic cup into the back, filled it up with salt and returned it for our use. What has been said about the rooms is plentiful and accurate--the hotel is nice and lacks for nothing. But what made my stay so memorable were the actions, the compassion of the two gentleman at the front desk. This was the first night of one heck of a journey and I cannot thank these two fellows enough for setting us off on the right foot.

  What more can you ask for Clean, Comfortable, Good shower and Wifi. The staff was knowledgable about the area and hospitable. The price was very reasonable, it is a marriott property so I get my points....
