    Totally crap

Bought a package for two via klook for private room hotspring and dinner. No need to book the hotspring timing before hand. Firstly, the number of people waiting for the shuttle service at Beitou was crazily many. We were lucky to be able to get on and not having to wait 30min for the next one. Upon arrival, the reception was ao crowded and the staff were overwhelmed. It was unclear where to queue for what, it was chaotic. We were eventually told that there are no more private rooms available until 10pm (we arrived at about 5pm). Japanese restaurant is full and had to settle for Chinese restaurant. If we choose the public pool, we need to have swim wear. We decided to give up on the booking and try cancelling it with klook. We then asked about the return shuttle to beitou, we were told it is full all the way till 9-10pm too. We have to either take a taxi or walk 25min out. The whole experience was simply ridiculous, rubbish. We went to Asia Pacific next door and had much better service and experience.

    Indoor hot spring experience

I stayed here with my mom for 1 night. My mom and i really enjoyed hot spring here. Outdoor one was good and indoor one was really nice. I felt like i was having a private hot spring. Resort is kind of isolated but they have shuttle to get some spot and get back to the resort. Room is big enough compared to the hotels in the city and price is reasonable i also like their breakfast. If you have have some break by having hot spring. This resort is really good.

Old facilities and over price need renovations

To begin with, they forced charging for valet parking, no self park. The front desk was friendly and lobby looks nice. However, when enter the room, the room was small size with tiny bath tub which can only barely sit one person in, also the bathing and toilet area does not separate. Also, there is gap on the bottom of the room door which feel no privacy. Only good thing was the hot siring water very pure. Also, They provide room service for Japanese Benton box. It taste nice. Overall, compare the price paid, the facilities, Hope they can do some renovation, here used to be number one list on my hot spring place.

    Hot spring trip

We came here for the day to use the hot spring facilities, and didnt stay in the hotel. There are loads of options in Beitou, but chose Spring a city because its recommended in Lonely Planet. It was OK. We paid $800 TWD for unlimited use of the facilities (although theres a natural limit to how long you want to use a few small pools for!). We went on a weekday well outside the main tourist season and we pretty much had he place to ourselves. We went here , rather than the public baths nearby, because we thought it would be a lot nicer. Im honestly not sure if it was worth the extra money or not. A shower cap, towel and flip flops were all provided - we just had to bring along swim wear. Broadly it was pretty decent. We also ordered lunch. The service was pretty lousy (I can live with that) and the food was vile. Like truly vile. We had two meat dishes which were so gristly we couldnt finish them. And I am one persistent eater - so this is really damning criticism. So yeah, it was alright. But I probably would not recommend.

    Relaxing

We weren't clients of the hotel but we were able to pay to access the outdoor hotsprings here. The price is 800$NTD, however, there is no time limit and when we visited in the evening none of the pools were busy. There are cold pools, hot pools, very hot pools and even a stone pool (9 in total). Bring your own swimsuits as they are obligatory, the spa here is mixed. Dressing gowns, flip flops, towels and shower caps are provided as well as a locker key. A lovely relaxing experience.
