  Excellent value, fine location, wonderful breakfast

  We stayed at the hotel for eight days in March 2015. Its location is excellent - near the center of the city but quiet, near a park where Tai Chi and dancing occurs. The room was small but very clean and modern with a Western toilet. The breakfast was outstanding, with a choice of over 12 different hot Chinese dishes, as well as fruit and desserts. Grace who works in the sales office has a very good command of English and was extremely helpful. The only downside is that the in room wireless is slow.

  Good!

  Nice, clean hotel and good food. Good beds and modern rooms. Good location. Knife and fork on the breakfasttable and various food. Nice staff. Drawback: Only a few of the staff speaks english which makes it difficult to give and take information.

  A pleasant surprise ... Very comfortable

  After a relatively tough 11 days of exploring the mountains and countryside around Kunming, Yunnan, imagine our joy when we checked our weary bodies on a wet Sunday night into the hotel. The lobby was warm and inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small though. After fitting in twin beds and our luggage, there was little room to move around. But the rooms are well-appointed. The beds, covered with crisp white bed linen, are soft and comfy. While the bathroom area adopted an open-concept, there were separate stalls for shower and toilet. All the standard amenities are available. The downside, while there were "No Smoking" signs around the hotel, it was not strictly enforced, there were local guests smoking in the corridors. We were glad our rooms did not smell of cigarette smoke. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Location-wise, it is a little out if the way from the main shopping area. Just grab a cab. The morning breakfast buffet has a good spread of Chinese and Western items, which are quite delicious. The restaurant (Garden Seafood Restaurant ) also serves very good Cantonese cuisine. A modern and tasteful hotel that befits its 4-star status.

  Ok hotel for a few nights.

  Ok hotel, not far from night market, where you can eat and shop for little money. Staff spoke very limited English. WiFi slow. Breakfast ok, for western people, but not more. We never found a good restaurant, where you could sit down and have a beer or a glass of vine nearby. Night market was the best choice for eating.

  4-Star Hotel with 3-Star Service

  Booked this hotel through Hotels.com and stayed at this hotel from 20.Sep to 24.Sep, 2019. The spacious room (on the 6th floor) comes with a king-size bed, and is tastefully decorated with ample amenities provided. My stay at this hotel also included daily buffet breakfast which was served in the hotel's only F&B outlet on the 1st floor - the breakfast is only so-so with emphasis on Chinese-style breakfast and very limited western selection. During my stay, the hotel staff did not acknowledge me much after check-in and went about playing their handphones or indulged in chit-chat each time we met. Once, I informed the front-desk staff about guests smoking 'brazenly' in the hotel lobby despite no-smoking signs openly displayed. The staff just smiled and went about her duties casually. One last thing - I used my credit card to pay for the hotel deposit which at the time of this writing, is still not refunded despite the front-desk staff informing that the funds will be returned within 5 working days.
