  For the price, great.

  I was ill doing my stay here, so I was in bed most of the time, and it was good. The room was clean, , but nothing special. My friend told me that breakfast was not good, but for this price I would not expect much. Overall a good stay.

  not great for non-Chinese speaking travelers

  This hotel is definitely for Chinese speakers. They could barely deal with us at the desk and got very flustered. We had to go to a more foreign-friendly hotel to get information about places to visit. They were nice, but just didn't know what to do with us. The breakfast is very Chinese, but there was some cereal (although only hot milk). One of the rooms smelled like smoke and there was smoking everywhere, which is typical in Chinese hotels. No wireless, only broadband to plug into your computer.

  Cheap clean hotel in quiet central location

  Good location in downtown Kunming, near Kunming hotel and Camelia, with good connections to airport and train station, and Green Lake. Small, basic but clean wooden rooms, with everything you need, including good showers. Breakfast buffet ok - Overall Great Value

  Impressively comfortable beds but room is too small

  Most comfortable bed I have experienced in many yearts of travel. Great location and friendly helpful staff. Nice though limited breakfast. Just the rooms are too too small. and minute by chinese standards by my experience. The double bed takes up half of the room which leaves little room to move. Two would struggle I think. Still. for the price its fine for a night or two.

  Interesting Place

  This hotel rooms were really nice. However smoking is allowed so if your not a smoker it can be smelly in the hallways and sometimes seek into the rooms. Only rule I saw was to not smoke on the beds. The breakfast in the morning is actually impressive with a wide variety of Chinese breakfast options. I did find a few challenges with this hotel though. One being the fact that they switched me rooms halfway throughout my stay due to construction and gave almost no notice. Also if you cannot speak Chinese be prepared to struggle... My English conversations were quite a challenge. I just wasn't impressed or would recommend this place to others who don't speak Chinese unless you don't mind a challenge. The rooms were comfortable and nice but it wasn't worth it overall. That's my 2 cents...
