  Great Family Getaway!

  Weve enjoyed Spring Brook for years and continue to value our time there. The setting provides room to make yourself at home, enjoy outdoor space, and connect with friends and family. The staff is professional and the amenities are comfortable! Dining and entertainment is right in the neighborhood with indoor and outdoor pools.

  disappointed

  House ok and clean but: no endtables no hassocks/ottomans no hair dryers no shampoo no dish washing detergent, salt, pepper or other basics no coffee table no recliners no clocks in bedrooms would not go back again

  Housekeeping didn't exist

  Been there many times and was great. This time though housekeeping failed to do anything I think. Asked to have management call me to discuss possible refund of $80 housekeeping fee. 1 week later and still no word from anyone.

  5 stars for Black Bear Lodge!

  From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we were all smiles at the presentation of the house and property. After walking in the front door, the house immediately felt cozy and inviting! The space of the house, the comfort of each room and all of the personable touches made our stay feel like home. The kids loved the whole downstairs with all of the games (air hockey, dart board, pool table, shuffle board) and the movie/theater room. Having a full kitchen, lots of seating for everyone and everything we needed to make our own meals, made our stay even more enjoyable! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend staying here! The convenience of being close to the clubhouse, restaurant/bar, pool and stores were also a plus!

  We rented the BearClaw Cabin this past weekend.

  We were a little disappointed at the condition of the home and the ammenities within the home. The TV in the living room appears to be going bad as the color and clarity of the TV was horrible. The fireplace blower was super loud when you first turned it on. The basement was really cold. The main floor tub had problems draining so we were not able to use it for taking showers. The Jacuzzi tub jets would not turn on at first. Most of the doors in the home would not close all the way as it looked like they had been kicked in at some point and time and were cracked. Some of the outlets in the master bedroom and bathroom did not work. It would have been nice to have scour pads to clean our dishes with and more than two kitchen towels and wash clothes. There should have been a nice big rug by the front door so that we could step on it so the floor did not get so dirty in that area with the snow that we had on our shoes. It would also be nice if you offered towels for the pool. We were not aware we had to bring our own towels.
