Superb! Not knowing what to expect as a friend of ours booked it all we were blown away by everything this hotel has on offer. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by candlelit lanterns, an outside open fire and the reception was very welcoming and efficient. Our room had all modern comforts, storage space and was cosy. The wellness centre is spacious , clean and towels and robes are provided . Breakfast and dinner is superb, with plenty of variation and choice. Prosecco in the morning if you wish and some lovely home smoked salmon as well! Luca is extremely knowledgable and passionate about his wine and his advice was spot on. The bar has got a great selection of cocktails is very cosy and comfortable . All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The ski-locker , albeit tight on space is beautifully heated and the courtesy bus is such a bonus: it picks you up or drops you off on demand Even if it is after hours which I found out once, as I got lost, but they picked me up which was very reassuring. We will definitely be back and it may well be in a few weeks time; what is there not to like about the sht. Mike and Lieke Swann

The Perfect Skiing BaseThis was our second visit to the Teresa after discovering this relaxed and sophisticated hotel last year. Whilst it's not ski-in or ski-out, it more than makes up for this with the hotel's shuttle and the local ski bus service, which allow you to quickly access different parts of the superb Sellaronda ski area (if you've not been, it's amazing - 90% snowmaking coverage, modern lifts and views to die for). The hotel itself is very comfortable and stylish in an alpine fashion, with very high levels of friendly and professional service - there aren't many hotels where the bar staff (even a glass of prosecco is prepared beautifully) make a point of remembering guests' names and saying goodbye. The food is of a high standard and typically Italian and the wine list, especially for the excellent Alto-Adige wines, is good value. Restaurant service is engaging and impeccable whilst the presence of a talented pastry chef makes dessert a treat every evening. Teresa has good quality sports and spa facilities, extending to indoor tennis, a decent pool and a full suite of treatments. For skiers, the heated boot and ski room, with individual heated boot prongs makes morning prep unusually comfortable. It's worth saying that this hotel has a very loyal UK following (we were not the only people to be coincidentally staying for the same week as last year) and I believe it's only available through Neilson as a package. We, like other regulars, love the location and the hotel, so it was very disheartening to hear on the grapevine that Neilson may be dropping it for next year - a bonkers decision, unless you're not interested in the type of customer it attracts (who are looking for more authenticity than a Brit-run chalet hotel). My final word is for Richard Frost, Neilson's resort manager in the area and their mountain guide. He's a big part of why so many people go back to the Alta Badia area year after year, as he's totally committed to his customers and makes sure everyone is looked after ('Frosty' is also a 10+ years veteran of the area). Many thanks to the staff at the hotel and to Richard for a fantastic week, despite the virus threat. Images are of the sitting area in our 'Comfort' room and taken from our balcony.

GemJust returned from this gem in the Dolomites. This will be our 4th consecutive year. The hotel is so friendly they go out of their way to make you welcome. Reception , bar and dining room staff are all very helpful and make your stay trouble free. Clean rooms everyday and always plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The spa and pool area are perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes. Food is good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, a choice at dinner with starter buffet of salads local meats cheese. Deserts were delicious. After you can relax in the bar with the lovely Marco and Francesca . We went with Neilson ski and their Rep Frosty really made our holiday with his knowledge of the area and his great personality. Neilson wont be doing this hotel next year which is a real shame as would go back with them, but we are going to book independently as wouldn't be the same if we didn't have our weeks skiing from Sporthotel Terasa.

Perfect summer family holidayIt was our first summer holiday in the Dolomites and Sport Hotel Teresa was just the perfect choice! Our room was bright and spacious, our 10ys old daughter loved the pool and play area, the food was great and we enjoyed many aperitif and cocktails in the outdoor patio and the bar. All the staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The location is also very convenient, there are many easy trails and a dear park just a short walk away (great for kids, make sure to do their guided tour on Tuesdays morning) and amazing mountain trails and sightseeing spots are just a short drive away. We are already looking forward coming back next year!
