  In the forrest

  Lovely sports hotel in the middle of the Forrest. The bed are very good. The spa was nice but placed in another building from where you sleep. Also the swimming pool was in the next building. This setup might be nice for sportsmen but for normal hotel guest it was not so convenient.

  Excellent congress package with gym, spa, pool etc.

  Rooms in the sportschool are very economical and clean, bring your own shampoo though. The overall package with spa, swimming pool, gym included is excellent value. Personnel is friendly, food is good.

  Really genuine visit

  Feels a little bit like arrving to the alps! You are going up up up passing trough the village! The room was supernice as well as the atmosphere! Breakfast was okay but not the best I have had! Unfortunatly our bathroom was flooded, my husband was lucky he showered first! I could not and was not able to use the toilet! Staff did not offer any payback, or offered Us to not pay the two euros for the waterbottle in our room that could have turné the four stars into five actually!

  One Overnight

  My wife and I were traveling back from holiday on the Havel to Bonn. The weather was very hot so we decided to split the 600 km journey in two. and stopped at The Sportshotel Fuchsbachtal. What a treat the room was immaculately clean and nice and cool. We had tea on the small terrace at the back of the Hotel. In the evening we had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant, the staff were very friendly and very professional. although we only stayed just one night we were treated like old friends.It was a really nice ending to a holiday,. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

  Please change the beds and pillows

  I stayed here for a business trip. The hote is focused on sports and is an official location for the German national team. Overall the hotel is nice, with good personnel and facilities. The restaurant and bar are good as well as the breakfast. The rooms are sparse which is probably intentional and not geared towards business travelers. I found the beds very uncomfortable. I have stayed here now three times and most matrassen are very old and need replacing because they have a hole in the middle. The pillows are unusable; they have hard small ones and gigantic big pillows that seem like a cruel joke. My biggest point of criticism is this: how in the world can a sports hotel with an excellently equipped fitness facility, not open that facility in the morning? So many people do sports before breakfast? Where is the logic?
