  We were a group of three people who stood in sport hotel. We asked for 3 very early cold packed breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning. We paid for it but as nobody was there over night, not even in the morning, they did not bother to prepare the food for us. Shame on you!!! Some of German services ar ok some of them sucks here too. Stupid system!

  Great hotel!

  I was attending a conference and stayed in this hotel. The rooms are very clean, but quite small. The staff are very very friendly and offered me a printed train time table without even having to ask, great staff! Would stay again with out a doubt. The hotel is 2 stops away from Dortmund HBF where all the clothes shops ect are, so very easy to get to. Supermarket right beside the hotel, open early and late, very useful! Would recommend to anyone!

  Free Parking was a bonus

  We wanted a hotel near the centre with parking and this fitted the bill. The parking was in a secure undercover garage at the back of the hotel and was hard to find. You need to go into the hotel to get the key to unlock the garaage and also have to do the same when departing but at least it was secure. It was rather tight to get out of though. The room was quite small but was comfortable and warm. We were on the fourth floor which if you got back late at night could be a problem as they do not have 24 reception and when the reception is closed the lift does not operate. The hotel was convenient for us to walk to centre for the Christmas Markets but was about a 20 minute walk. It is easy to do and the hotel receptionist gave us a map to ensure that we did not get lost. Although our room looked out onto the main road, the room was quiet. We paid to get a breakfast the next morning and that was well worth it. It was a nice breakfast with plenty of choice and lovely rolls. I would not like to stay here for more than 2 or 3 days but for the 1 night we was there it was fine. The reception staff spoke good English and was extremely helpful.

  Why say sports

  With such a name you would expect some sort of sport facility. Not in this case - no gym, no pool, no nothing. The very first problem we had was with the fact that the elevator stops are situated between floors. This means that if my room is in the 4th floor I could take the elevator to the 3rd floor and take the stairs half a story up, or take the elevator to the 4th floor and walk half a story down - As the name implies time for "SPORT". A great bonus was the hotel parking lot - on the downside the garage is on the same block but requires a key to open and does not have enough space for all the guests (I came back one night and had to find parking on the street).

  Bad !

  Badddd !! I reserved for 12 days a room and the second day the told me to go out becouse another client was taking the room. The recepsionist didnt talk with each other. The price its too much The wifi its good They have back parking. The recepsion its close too early. The lift doesnt work at night,and its between the flors not in the floor u want.
