  GREAT place to stay in Negombo near the airport.

  We LOVED our stay in Splendid Holiday Guest House. The staff were wonderful and proudly showed us round the newly opened hotel. We were the first people to stay in our room which was fantastic value. It was right on next to some great bars and restaurants. A great last night in Sri Lanka before we flew home. Only 20 minutes from the airport and the super lovely staff organised and drove us there making it very easy.

  Not good

  Been there finally, but so hard to find it. Arrived early morning. Nobody to welcome us. Door close. No guest. Had to wait 3 h, means 10 am for someone to wake up and open the door! Incredible. Not such a view as claimed. Not on a cliff! Lyes. At the time of departure, asked to pay again. Already paid in full ahead of time. They have no system to manage customers. Just using private email, checking if agoda or booking have sent email. Needed to be very strong, threatened to go without them checking out. Finally, after 90min, they found our booking again. Already paid. So bad experience. Avoid absolutely.

  Gem of a Guest House

  We enjoyed the suite with oversize balcony and cozy kitchenette. Beautifully designed and appointed with many luxury touches. This is an ideal place for the independent traveler looking for comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Negombo beach strip.

  Nice, cool and clean

  We were expecting a bit bigger room. We booked the deluxe and it turned out to be only a very tiny room with just a double size bed. However, the bathroom was very nice and all the facilities were extremely clean and neat. There was a problem with the front door of the hotel being locked at random hours and nobody on reception so we couldn't get out. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

  LOVLEY PLACE TO STAY

  A really lovely place to stay for our first two night in Sri Lanka. We arrive late ,where picked up from the airport and welcomed at the door . Had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed . The room is quite large and clean with aircon . There is a pool and breakfast is served as part of the package . It was wonderful fresh and plenty to eat . The staff are great and very attentive. Nothing is to much trouble . A small 5 minute walk to the maim street and beach .
