  Awesome apartments for a family

  We stayed in and 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. The apartment itself was amazing, lovely and clean with everything we needed for a few days stay including - dishwasher, washer and dryer. All beds were very comfortable so we all slept well. We had a great view from the 6th floor and there was some great restaurants within 15 minutes walk. The apartments are very secure with swipe access to the building and one night we did see security patrolling. The nicest touch was walking in to our apartment after a 15 minute walk to get there in the sun. The only thing that could top our stay would have been having our apartment serviced, but not essential.

  Great place to stay, close to everything!

  Lovely, modern apartments with everything you need for a comfortable stay. City and West End eateries only a walk away. Southbank only a short stroll along the river with lots of things to do. Lovely pool area on the roof with great river and city views. Friendly staff. Will definitely be staying there again.

  Fabulous location on the river

  Superb apartment with great views of the city. Rooftop pool is a great place to relax. Only issue was that we arrived late and did not know of check in procedure out of hours when reception is shut. After contacting duty manager, soon sorted and very pleasant and helpful (this did not spoil our stay). Easy walk into downtown Brisbane along the river. Should have stayed longer!

  I'm not angry, I'm just dissapointed.

  This building has the most abysmal noise bleed between apartments. it may as well be a SLEep eAZY motel. I felt at risk of arrest after being verbally accosted at the door by a managerial authority claiming stranger in pyjamas for having had the television on after 10pm. Anyone that could hear a television through walls and nightly factory, truck and train noise must be super-human, perhaps they were, as this person was most certainly super-aggressive. The "Secure Parking" branded car park was wide open my entire stay and there is no bicycle lockup, I enjoyed the quaint reminder on the car park noticeboard about the 'high level of bicycle theft' in the area recently swiftly qualified by a statement absolving all liabilities. The pleasentness of the room was tarnished by having to lay newspaper down to protect the carpet from my bike, lest I take reception's suggestion of 'locking it up down by the river'. I did not realise that Arise Property Management was a Jim Henson company. The view is beautiful at times but only on the north or west of building 1. So seriously if you're here for longer than a dirty weekend (possibly to be interrupted by an angry pyjama cadet), go elsewhere, I have and found much less dissapointing.

  Love these Apartments

  This is my fourth stay at Spice apartments and cannot fault them. Rooms are large and clean with a balcony and great views across the river back to the CBD. Make sure you book a city view apartment the extra $ are worth it.
