  Charming, beautiful, clean, and friendly: PERFECT

  We where 2 families for a week vacation. I went with my children (both small) and their aunt and met there our friends with 2 children as well. As soon as we arrived, I could feel "at home". Mario, the owner is a very nice, friendly and helpful person. We could always ask for advice about where to go and what to do and he took the time to explain and to draw maps until we really understand. The Tenuta is very clean (smells really nice!) and we can notice the care they take on each small details, like the plants, the grass, the pool etc. The place is very charming with all these trees (fruits and olive everywhere) and the service personell has always a smile on their faces. The only thing that I would change is the fact that the breakfast beginns quite late (9 a.m.) for the summer, when people want to go early to the beach and take profit of the morning hours when the sun is not "killing". If we have breakfast from 9 on, we are at the beach not before 10:30 and this is a bit late for the kids. But this is a small detail that does not at all affect the vacation... just have to organize another way. Important to mention: The breakfast is absolutely great. All fresh and self preppared cakes, breads, cookies, yogurt and marmelades makes the day beginn in a great and healthy way. This hidden place is a small piece of paradise!

  lovely place

  When you think you're in the middle of nowhere and find a beautiful oasis-like hotel, then you've reached Masseria Specolizzi . We were very pleasantly and kindly welcomed at the door. Going into the Masseria we found ourserlves amidst beautiful buildings, extremely well-kept and beautifully lit in the evening. After having been there for no more than half an hour we decided to stay another night. The first night we got a junior suite in one of the main buildings with a beautiful view of surrounding olive trees. The second night we got a room, which was a very nice experience as well. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are awesome. Even their shower gel by Malin & Goetz stole our hearts! The pool is beautiful and gets cleaned every day. The fruit trees on the property make your inner child want to come out and get your organic fruit snacks. The breakfast they served here couldn't be topped by any other hotel during our vacation: fresh cheeses, omelet, home-made jams, breads, cakes, fruit, coffee...and probably more that I've forgotten. Dinner at the restaurant: a whole lot of, very good, food. A bit too much food...we didn't know when it was going to end and ended up feeling a couple of kg's heavier. But it was all wonderful with great service and excellent quality. Also, this place is at an excellent location if you want to explore Puglia and the Salento look sea by car. Love it...and I really hope to go back soon!

  An oasis with outstanding hospitality and facilities

  Tenuta Specolizzi is a truly special place in Salento that I highly recommend for a stay in any season. The hospitality of the management, from Mario and Silvana, to Marco and the rest of the Specolizzi crew is admirable and refreshing, and the property is marvelous. Surrounded by cacti, columns, palms, and pools - it's a picture worthy sight in every direction. Great for couples for a romantic get away, and families for a vacation really any time! The two pools are extremely refreshing, and tucked away for a bit of privacy. You can truly relax at Tenuta Specolizzi, enjoy their on-location spa, and can treat the location as the perfect Puglia "hub" for seeing the rest of the area. A real gem and highlight of my trip to Southern Italy. :) Also noteworthy, the best breakfast I've ever had in my life! There's even a mini "shop" with local artisanal products made specifically for Specolizzi. Sooo good!

  Fantastic vacation in a serene, impeccably maintained and relaxing environment

  From the moment the gate opened to reveal a majestic view of the vegetation, to the delicious and beautifully prepared dinner, to the clean and comfortable rooms, everything about the vacation exceeded our expectations. Two beautiful and serene swimming pools, access to the breathtaking beaches in the Maldives of Salento, very close to the picturesque town of Santa Maria di Leuca and near the historic beach town of Gallipoli. The attention to details and service orientation of the owners and all the personnel complete the picture to make this one of the best vacation spots I have ever experienced. We will definitely recommend this to anyone who asks and will be back soon! Grazie!

  Perfect

  We found this hotel by chance as we explored South Italy, and so glad we did. It was extremely quiet as it's out of season but that really suited us. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was continental and bakes that morning. The staff were so friendly and polite and we felt very lucky to have stayed here. It is a family farm and very well taken care of. 2 swimming pools and both were so inviting. We plan on returning.
