  Exceptional Service and Hospitality

  My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sovalye Hotel for 5 days off-season in October. We were meeting family towards the end of our trip and to attend a wedding. We stayed at both hotels on the island however I would only thoroughly recommend this one. On arrival at 10.30pm we were greeted with drinks and Turkish delight and shown to our room. The room was a standard room. It was very modern, clean and had a large private balcony overlooking a spectacular view. It was perfect for us. I must mention Kemal, the hotel owner, as he and his staff were incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming. On our first day he offered to take us on a tour of the island and discussed the history and relics. It was just a short tour but it meant that we got a feel for the place and where we might like to eat and visit. The hotel also offered some complimentary canoeing, boat trips and Turkish cuisine. They went above and beyond to assist us in any excursions or outings we wanted to do. When we wanted to relax by the jetty and on the sunbeds we would be offered any food or drinks we wanted throughout the day. It was also very reasonably priced. The island itself is absolutely stunning and the Sovalye Hotel is in a beautiful position where the water is calm and warm. Even in October! If you're lucky you may see a turtle or dolphins! In my opinion the island is a better place to stay than the mainland of Fethiye or Calis beach and you still have the option to pop across to visit markets and restaurants whenever you like. Towards the end of our stay we were invited to have a coffee with Kemal and chatted about our experiences which was really nice. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very good and be sure to ask Kemal about any activities or questions you may have because he will undoubtedly know the best way to go about it.

  Very friendly, family run hotel

  Lovely hotel. I had a beautiful sea view room. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Great continental style breakfast, really nice area to eat at - overlooking the sea and mainland. Good, free wifi.

  Lovely family run hotel

  I stayed at Sovalye Hotel during a friends wedding on the island and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and contemporary, the service was solid and the value for money was very good. The views from the terrace where breakfast is served is absolutely stunning, and the jetty down at the sea offers quick access to the mainland via boat. Definitely a quiet, pleasant retreat for anyone looking to find a good value for money place to stay on the stunning Sovalye Island.

  Superb Hotel and Service

  I stayed at Sovalye Hotel in June 2016 and had a superb trip. From the moment we were picked up by Kemal by boat from the main land the service was fantastic. Kemal went out of his way to ensure our stay went well whilst we were on the island for a friends wedding. The room itself was stunning with a beautiful sea view. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be back!

  One of the Best hotels
