Great stay during the Winter SeasonWe stayed here during the Winter season but got lucky as the weather was in the 50s. The room was beautiful and clean and the staff was very welcoming. We were able to walk to the village area where we stopped by Tate's Bake Shop and had dinner at Union Burger. We had breakfast at Claude's at the Southampton Inn. The Inn is cozy and gives you more of a bed & breakfast feeling. It has a huge "family room", books you are free to take home and a lot of beautiful art decorating the walls on the bottom floor. Can't wait to revisit during the Summer season!

Way overpriced for the experienceI booked a room off season as their seasonal $700 a night rates are crazy. This is a glorified motel but because of the location, they can charge a lot of money. i was put in a lovely room, but sadly it was above where they hold karaoke night. It was as if they were singing in my room. I was unable to sleep and had to contact the front desk to have my room changed. I had to get out of bed, pack my belongings up, get dressed and move to another room. I was told that Management would reach out to me, but it's been 6 days and I have heard nothing. I would not ever book another night here.

Horrendous! We've been coming to this hotel for over yen years, when this was still a lovely inn. This was not the case recently, when we decided to stay in for a couple of days , during a recent quarantine period. The prices were absolutely ridiculous, $400 plus tax, during a time, when everyone is offering specials and excellent accommodation. I asked for a specific room that we always stayed in and at the time of reservation, Rick( the receptionist kid, who is barely 14 years old) told us that the room was available, I also asked specifically to note this on the reservation, as we have done this for years. Upon arrival, we were greeted by 12 men in worker's clothes , who were playing loud music at the second entrance towards the rooms , while drinking beers out of a box, ( not the type of greeting one expects at a hotel in the Hamptons). We were not given the room we requested and the substitute was ghastly, didn't look like the interior of the other rooms and smelled of mold and dog's piss. I am not exaggerating , as they allow pets in certain rooms for $49 per pet extra ( a lovely thing if you do have a pet) but not when you arrive with family. When I complained , they tried to show us another room, that was even worse and spelled of mold too. It looked dingy and probably wasn't cleaned for many months, as there was acrid dust everywhere. I asked for a room next to the one we requested that wasn't booked. They refused to give to us, as they said, the staff was working there, which I believe to be a lie, since the room looked ready to be booked. We decided to leave and asked for a refund, which they refused. After being so rude, we didn't feel , we should stay at this place or ever return again. Te receptionist Z , had a superior attitude , was rude and spoke to me in a street- like, threatening manner, as she repeatedly pointed out that our interaction was being recorded by a camera, to which I replied , I was happy to learn that that was the case, as she continued to be loud and abusive. I got to the point that I had to call my lawyer, as they decidedly did not want to issue a refund and were not letting me speak to the owner of the hotel. After my lawyer gave them a call , they issued a refund for $911.00, minus $25 ,for the atrocity they put us through. We will never, ever return to this place! There are plenty of lovely and accommodating places, with better prices and lovely staff ,all over the Hamptons. Spear yourselves a lot of headache and steer clear of this place!

Very Nice All AroundWe requested a second floor room by the pool area and that is what we received( have stayed at the Inn a number of times). Our room was very clean and nicely furnished. the only negative was not having a blackout shade. I was told that some rooms have them. The pool area, lobby, outdoor dining and restaurant were all very good as well.

8am ? Every morningWhile the room was nice and comfortable, the down side was 1) the maintenance man at 8am everyday with the leaf blower outside the room that seemed like it took him forever. And even though the blower was battery powered it gave off a loud whistle that rocks you out of bed. Why 8am outside of rooms?? 2) The noise from the occupants walking on the wooded floor in the room above was also very disturbing. 3) If the maintenance man doesnt wake you the lack of blackout blinds will have you enjoying bright light sooner than a lot of people would desire. Really no curtains? 4) Resort fee? Really in December
