  Basic, clean hotel, really nice staff and a reasonable location

  Worth all the money. No complaints at all for the hotel since we we're travelling without kids and a pool was not necessary. Nice location if you prefer to stroll around rather than go to the beach to grill yourself everyday. The staff will help you with anything and do it with a smile.

  Really nice

  I'm more than satisfied with this guesthouse! Very clean and great service! No pool but only a 10 minute walk to the beach! WiFi for each floor that works great! A small store just across the street with an atm. I have absolutely no complaints!

  good value

  Good location, room was clean and quiet, staff were helpful and friendly - I booked a double room with booking.com and they were happy to change me to a twin when my friend decided to join. Wifi worked fine. What more do you want for this price?

  Even if you just need to sleep somewhere, not here...

  We stayed there for 2 weeks.Usually, we choose simple hotels because we spend most time outside.So our requirements are pretty low:good beds and Internet.None of them was decent.Stone-like beds that's why you start appreciating massage in Thailand even more.The owner of the guesthose was tough to talk to.She stated that all beds in Thailand were like that.Really?We had a trip to a water park with a hotel and the beds there were so much softer!It didn't feel great to come back to South Siam guesthouse after that. The Internet was instable and according to the host it was good only for phones, not tablets.So the signal is selective there...On the sign outside the hotel they promise Wi-Fi which is misleading.We didn't get a chance to change the room for better signal. After our complains the hostess ignored us for the rest of our staying there which was so ridiculous and unprofessional! Cleaning was fantastic and the staff is really helpful.Breakfast was not.

  Nice budget guesthouse.

  A nice family run guesthouse for the budget minded. The room was ok, the airconditon really good. The breakfast consists of five menues, all consist of exactly the same ingredients: a cup of tea/coffee, a cup of juice, two roasted slices of bread, butter&marmelade for these, an omelette or those eggs cooked instead, two slices of tomato, one salad leaf, 4 half slices of pine apple and 4 slices of water melon. Its good, still a little more choices would be nice. We spent two weeks in Kata, Phuket. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can get your laundry done and all your sightseeing tours booked at the guesthouse. All you could possibly need is within 100 meters, the Kata beach 800 meters. I can really recommend this guesthouse for a good budget alternative!
