  Superb delivered takeaway

  My wife and I celebrated our 48th Wedding Anniversary yesterday. Having studied local takaway menus we chose South Lawn's takeaway menu and ordered the food by phone in the morning - all very easy. We ordered a braised beef steak bourguignon, a roast breast of chicken and 2 passion fruit and red berry pavlovas. The meals were delivered on time and were absolutely superb quality.   Lovely stay

  2nd time we visited this hotel, first time a few years back. Great base for Milford on sea and the surrounding New Forest. Room absolutely lovely, really comfortable with extra heater and fan. Everything so clean and comfortable, great night sleep. The bathroom is stunning- so immaculate and beautiful loved the option of bath or shower but had both, no steam or condensation! Decor is lovely and calming! All covid restrictions in place and well observed felt very safe. Unfortunatly didnt use the restaurant but hoping to stay again when weather improves! Thank you for relaxing stay!

  Perfect stay

  Despite having to shut their restaurant the hotel honoured our room booking which was amazing, as there wasnt anywhere else to stay. Check in was simple and our room was clean and modern and very spacious with a palm tree outside the window. Very comfortable bed, tea and coffee, wifi, everything you needed, and as we had made plans we didn't miss the restaurant. For breakfast there were drinks, toast, cereals all laid out for you to use. A wonderful location just out of town, plenty of space and lovely and quiet. Perfect rooms, we would definitely stay again.

  Take-away dinner

  Having not eaten out for over 2 months my partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a take-away dinner. We found the South Lawn menu online and ordered the chicken in tarragon sauce and fish pie with the chocolate box for pudding. We are in Barton on Sea and they were happy to deliver to us. We were delighted with the efficient service and the food was delicious and hot too. We will definitely use them again. Thank you.

  Delivery Dinner hot to your door.

  The meal was absolutely delicious. The slow cooked lamb melted in your mouth as did the braised beef steak bourguignon. Vegetables were crunchy and the sticky toffee pudding was nice and light and not too sweet. Delighted with the birthday cake given the short notice. All in all excellent dinner, thank you.
