  Mountain retreat

  Ideal place to chill out and escape from the crowded streets of Barcelona. The wilderness is so close and still a safe - we kept the french doors open all night. The rooms are super equipped with gadgetry. If you don't have a car, then its wee bit of a walk to centre of the village, but thats the romance of the location. Its a perfect place for trekking and you can walk up the mountain and there are lots of trails up the wilderness. La Garriga, has to be in you list when visiting Spain and we can vouch for Sono Apts hospitality and service. Plan for a stay of 5 to 6 days and pack you meat & drinks, for fresh bread & fruits there is a petrol pump at the foot of the mountain about 30 mins walk or go down a bit further into the main village.

  Nice and spacious apartments

  Booked to get quickly from/to F1 curcuit, reception is reachable via intercom and took less than 5 min till someone came to check us in. Very clean apartment house with large rooms. Bathroom is good equipped (shower could be a bit larger given the space of the room). Good and comfy bed. Apartment has kitchen with microwave, washing machine and cooking field. TV is only Spanish. Car park in underground or on the street. To city centre you need to drive. Its a cosy village with some nice bars and 2 or 3 recommended restaurants. Can be recommended.

  Very very great !

  We stayed 5 days here for visiting Barcelona and going to the beach (it's only 45 minutes car trip). The owner came fast and spoke English too, and we discovered a really spacious place : it has 3 bedroom (I suppose 4 if you need), a big living room, a big kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. It's confortable and really clean, and it's so cool to have a dishwasher and a washing machine ! The TV is in Spanish but, well, we're not here for that. There is a little grocery just nearby, and also a big supermarket at 5 mins by car. The only little thing that I would suggest is to maybe add some mosquitos grids to the windows, so that we can sleep with the window open : otherwise it was too hot (window closed) or we got bitten by insects (window open), but of coursr it's not the owner's fault if it was hit in August. Overall a really nice experience, would 100% recommend.

  Apartotel bien situado ,tranquilo,amplio y sobre todo LIMPIO y silencioso.Equipación correcta y completa .Utensilios con aspecto de nuevos.Cama amplia y cómoda.Con muy buena atención por parte de la dirección.

  Mostly very good!

  Lovely clean apartment. Shared by five of us. Excellent amount of towels which were reasonably soft, really pleased by the gratis shower gel and the fact that the bathrooms had handwash included, and ditto for washing up liquid. Also a pack with a scourer and one washing tablet (washing machine was not used). No dishwasher. Steps and no lift. Good size lounge with dining room table - the photo with the red sofa must be old, there is now a brown sofa. Bins in the bathrooms (two bathrooms).. the only two issues were that the smaller bathroom especially really had a bad sewage smell come up through the bath, though we noticed on certain streets in the area that you could smell something similar as you walked past the drains (!). Our real issue was the the beds are firm! I thought it was just our room but our friend remarked at how hard his bed was!! The beds are made up just with sheets but there are spare bed spreads and blankets in the cupboards. No spare pillows though the ones provided are substantial. Our apartment (201) consisted of one good size double, one small double (though good size/two single beds pushed together), and one single room. Suitable cutlery, crockery etc from IKEA which is perfectly adequate. Very good stay. Just softer beds would be very nice!!
