  Lovely traditional hotel with very friendly staff and great location

  We decided to stay in this traditional and charming hotel for a family reunion in Bad Hindelang. Upon our arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, very nice rooms and a beautiful view across the valley from the balcony and the terrace. The rooms were cleaned every morning and were speckless throughout our entire stay, as was the common area of the hotel. And who doesn't love to find a piece of chocolate on their pillow every day? The staff at the reception made sure that we had a "Bad Hindelang Card" which allowed us to take the busses in the area and several other things. Overall, they were very helpful and friendly, providing suggestions and advice on how to fill our days and different activities we might enjoy. Considering that the youngest in our group was 14 and the oldest over 70, it cannot have been easy to make everyone happy, but everyone left satisfied with the variety of suggestions Susanne Fügenschuh had for us. The breakfast buffet was in a beautiful room with windows along one entire side, so we could enjoy the beautiful view across Bad Hindelang towards the mountains on the other side of the valley and the sunlight in the morning. We were greeted by a member of the staff who made sure we had a warm drink of our choice while we could pick from a wide variety of food from the buffet which included fresh fruit, müsli, different types of cheese and several other things. We all very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sonnebichl and can definitely recommend it as a place to stay, no matter if you're looking for place that allows you to explore the entire area or just want to have a few quiet days in Bad Hindelang itself, enjoying the beautiful views and fresh air.

  Well located with nice views

  It's beautifully located above the village offering a bery nice view over the valley and just a 5 walking away from the center. Everything is clean and the hosts are friendly. The interior and furniture is a bit stuffy with mixed styling and could use a refurbishment and remake. The breakfast buffet quality with a good variety of items and fresh bread gave an additional rating point.

  nice place for a short stay

  we spend 1 night only in the hotel , it is nice and has a nice view but I think you will enjoy if you have ashore stay , green surrounding and not far from the city . I like the room is a quit big and clean and almost all the rooms have balconies .

  Cozy place in a quiet village

  Nice 'old-style' hotel just 5' away from the center of Bad Hindelang. I stayed during a busy period but I found a room anyway, despite that it was good value for money. Staff is corteous, breakfast very good (also chance to prepare your own pancakes, never seen before!). Receommended

  Fell Short

  Had one night here recently as most Hotels were full owing to a long week-end. Initially wanted to stay a few nights but when inspecting the property decided to just overnight. Room was ordinary and expensive (owing to the long week-end and one night stay) and the breakfast was not up to the standard of a 3 star hotel nor were the facilities. Perhaps this was because it was out of season?
