  Hotel remodelado pero sigue siendo viejo, las habitaciones no tienen vista al mar, el mar esta a 300 MTs y hay vegetación, o sea no se ve el mar ni casi se oye, comida regular, sitio central, esta en una urbanización bonita con campo de golf, servicio amable, precios normales, limpio

  Do not recommend, especially for large events

  My husband's company picks a new place (usually 4 or 5 star resorts) every year to celebrate top performers and this year was Sonesta. Though I'm very grateful his company does this, I have to say Sonesta was the worst hotel we have been to for a corporate trip. The event was in the Beach Pavilion which is a very beautiful set up! The issue is there was only one buffet spot for 150+ people. We sat near the back and it took over an hour for us to get food and by this time they had started running out of food, the food was very cold, and we didn't get a decent portion because they started running out (staff was giving very tiny portions to make the food last longer). Very poor planning and disappointing. This has never happened at any other event we've been to. Besides the event, as other reviewers have mentioned Sonesta is in a gated community, which majority of HHI is. It's not super convenient to get in/out of but it's just how HHI is set up... you'll see that for most resorts. The room we had was very large (standard king) but the bed was very uncomfortable.. very thin pillows and sinking mattress. My husband always sleeps very good and he even had issues sleeping. We did not enjoy the pool, but its very small for such a large resort. We did see small fire pits throughout the outdoor area which looked lovely! Unfortunately they were all taken to enjoy. The landscaping is grogeous! HHI is a great spot if you're looking to golf, hang out on the beach (very spacious compared to other beaches along the coast), and/or ride bikes all within a community and not leave. I think there's likely better resorts than Sonesta to do all those things. I do not recommend Sonesta.

  The BEST!!

  I have stayed in many places in Hilton Head and I will have to say that sonesta is truly one of the most amazing resorts. Down to their staff and their amazing property it number one on my list. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and the beach is extremely a short walk and on the way you will have many many things to look at and enjoy. I could go on and on about the time that my wife and I have spent here at the resort we have five kids and we will definitely bring all of them back next time. I have seen nothing but families and couples enjoying themselves this is an all-around resort for something for everybody.

  An awesome place to stay

  We loved everything about our stay here! The staff was super accommodating. Our Executive King Corner room was huge with a great view of the property from the balcony, beds super comfy & soft. Loved that the beach was only a stones throw away. The pool was nice and warm for our March stay. One thing we would suggest- another (bigger) hot tub! We definitely will be returning!

  Beautiful quiet resort

  Beautiful, quiet resort located on the beach in Hilton head. Easy beach access, very large pool area with beach bar. Very clean and spacious rooms. We felt very safe with COVID-19 precautions in place. We visited during the off-season so not all of the restaurants were open. It was nice to have bicycles available to rent which we were able to explore parts of the island. We will be back.
