  Nice, clean room, but only "okay" for this level of hotel

  The room was clean and well-maintained. The lobby looks very nice. But, I expected more from a Crowne Plaza. There was no frig, no microwave in the room. The room is supposed to be cleaned every 5 days (you can request more often); after 6 days I started requesting it, after 9 days, they finally cleaned my room. I requested additional blankets for my bed on two nights asking why there was no heat, they finally turned the heat on after I complained 2 nights. Fire Department is located 1 block away; police station is about 3 blocks away. Thankfully, there were sirens only one night.

  Maybe its COVID

  Came back from working all day auto find no maid service. You have to ask for it. Room was nice and clean enough at check in. No restaurant open, coffee in lobby, etc. The hot tub was open, but not hot. I feel badly about the travel industry troubles and hope it will be better. Ill tell you that, at least during the pandemic, meh.

  Stay

  Came to this hotel after a college tour. We ordered food well the driver called and said they were on the way mind you we flew here from Atlanta to Chicago and 1hr drive from there so super tired. I tried to call the front desk no answer from my cell neither phones in the room worked we could not call the front desk and looked up the number called it from cell still no answer so after shower my son put more clothes on to go downstairs(tank and shorts to sweats) food was there cold gentleman working front desk was there my son asked if food came his response was Its over there WHAT!!! Im over it I want to just leave but we didnt get here until after 6pm food ordered as soon as we got here and we showered after no one answered my son went to get what we found out was our food sitting there did I mention they dont have a microwave. I just want to get sleep so I can get out of here I would get better service at Chicago airport restaurants than the hotel Im staying in. If you want food, drinks, a microwave, customer service, and phones to work its best that you get it yourself before checking in. Worst out of state hotel Ive EVER been in! Oh thank God we brought all toiletry items because you wont have that either. Save yourself frustration and stay somewhere else!

  Nice place !

  Nice hotel I was surprised how quiet everything was I assume thats covid (among other reasons). Anyway rooms are cleaned they are pretty basic for the price you cant really expect more I would know I usually stay in five star hotels theres only one in Wisconsin. Great location and reason for visit was vicinity to children hospital. They usually have a shuttle but did not this time again I presume because it was so quiet. I dont think the restaurant was open but never. Really checked. Staff is friendly overall good service

  Great hotel

  I stayed here last month for three nights. Reception staff was very nice, lobby decor also interesting for holidays and entire facility clean. Room seemed warmer for thermostat setting I had it on but I didnt say anything and pool looks like it needs to be refinished otherwise everything was perfect. Smaller hotel but amenities reflected class of the property. The restaurant is still closed but there are options nearby. I would recommend for anyone staying on business or pleasure like me.
