  Stairs to second floor, no elevator

  It was a bit difficult to find the first time. Glad our room was on the first floor and we didn't have to lug our stuff up the flight of stairs. So nice to have a generous size room and full, well stocked kitchen. Since we stayed during covid-19, no breakfast was served. We also requested no housekeeping until we left.

  Just not good on any front

  - Room smelt awful - We stayed for 2 nights, management/housekeeping didn't bother cleaning the rooms - Breakfast just as average too - For the services and property offered, I wont pay more than 50$ a night

  Southern Hospitality at it's best.

  I was in Montgomery, Alabama due to a family medical emergency. The staff at Sonesta ES could not have been nicer or more supportive. This was exactly what I needed to alleviate adding more stress to a stressful situation. The 2 separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom along with the living area and kitchen with table and chairs were all so convenient and made it very comfortable for us. I found it to be a very quiet safe area. I appreciate the care and support I received and will definitely stay here again when in this area.

  Great Place to stay

  The Sonesta is great place to stay. It is a clean and nice facility. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed are very comfortable. There is a full kitchen if you want to take advantage of saving money and cook. The hotel is also located close to nice restaurants.

  Very Clean and Comfortable

  We basically just needed a clean, comfortable, quiet place to crash on our way through the area. We were very satisfied with our overall experience at Sonesta other than the quiet part. Check-in was fast, friendly and easy. The rooms were modern, very clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed having the kitchenette and the extra space to spread out. The one issue we had was the people above us never stopped stomping around all night. Im sure they were just walking around (for whatever reason, all night and well into the morning) but the sound suppression seemed to be pretty poor so it sounded like they were practically coming through our ceiling. As a result, we didnt sleep very well and we had a long drive ahead the next day. Without that issue, we definitely would have given Sonesta five stars. - The Power Trippers
