Quiet and Exclusive Hotel - Amazing PlaceI almost don't want to write this review as the Hotel is a hidden gem! Only 16 rooms but all huge with either a massive balcony or terrace, with air con that works and luxurious fittings. Its a converted Finca about 2 miles from Porto Cristo so close to some lovely beachs and the the town but far enough way to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful and large infinity pool overlooking the mountains. No race for sun beds or shade. Service impeccable. Family owned so not one of the Relais & Chateaux or SLH group that we usually go to but of the same standard as these, if not better. Loved it and will go back.

Very good! Quite peaceful hotelWe came here for a weeks holiday in August and the standards where very high. The rooms are big and spacious with a wide bathroom including a separate bath and shower with a large basin. The pool is a very big 20 meters long, roughly 8m wide and up to 2.10m in depth. For breakfast theres a small buffet to choose from but you can also ask for the kitchen to make you eggs or omelettes. For dinner theres a menu that differs everyday which you can choose from in advance, the waiter and waitresses were brilliant and take note of when you arrive and prepare your food asap without you having to do anything. Theres also an indoor pool and a gym but the gym isnt air conditioned and is very small with not very much equipment. Very good hotel; Good service, friendly staff, quiet, relaxing and a spacious hotel. My only comments for improvement would be the gym would benefit from an upgrade and the supply of complimentary drinking water in the room. Definitely would return again.

4* accommodation but service miles offWe recently stayed at this hotel for a six day stint we had been looking forward to for ages. Ill start with the positive: beautiful rooms, exceptionally quiet (almost monastic) surroundings including a stunning pool. The breakfast was lovely and provided by three exceptionally helpful ladies. In every other sense however, this hotel was significantly below the calibre of what I would have expected and paid for frankly. On arrival, we were checked in and told the restaurant would be closed the following day (unusually, a Tuesday) so we would have to find some other place to do both lunch and dinner. There was no offer of help to book anywhere else, no suggestion as to where else we could go. We also arrived too late to have dinner that evening (8.15pm) as you need to order your dinner the preceding morning. We had to push to get the names of a restaurant we might be able to go to and were told that for the best one of these we would have needed a reservation - again, no offer to help us book this. We were shown to our room, which as Ive said was lovely. At this point we were not given any suggestions for any activities, beaches, tips for the area, told about bikes we could take out, spa treatments, or given any kind of tour of the hotel. We were not even told there was a basic number to call reception on for any kind of service - essential as it turns out as there is essentially absolutely no one offering any kind of service either by the pool or on the terrace between meals. We were willing to assume this was because it was a bit later (8.30pm) by this point and would get a better introduction the following day. No such luck. The following day I wandered back into reception to try to get some tips about good beaches they would recommend and to find out about spa treatments. I met the person I believe is the owner after repeatedly saying hello into the kitchen (reception was empty), who barely took the time of day to introduce herself and give us a proper welcome. I honestly felt like she wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible. Determined to polite and enjoy my holiday, I ploughed on and asked about booking a massage (which I had the following day and was lovely). Again, there had been no guidance on when / how we should do this until I asked about it. What is so frustrating is this could all be so easily remedied. It is a very small hotel with little or nothing to do other than lie by the pool. That could actually be wonderful if wed just been given a proper check in with some guidance about how to order things and a bit more / any advice on things to do in the area. As it is, we were pretty disappointed and can not recommend this to anyone given the price point.
